Did anyone actually buy this cd?

Recommended Posts

I was looking at my Greastest Hits: My prerogative cd when this little blue thing flashed by my mind and reminded me of its existence.

It was such an weird release because Sony didn't acknowledge the release of this CD and it was only released outside of the United States? :orangu:

anywhom, did anyone buy this cd? I am genuinely curious haha :wtfdidusay:

(Also how can it be ''the best of'' if there is no song from Blackout or Femme Fatale :ohwut:)

"Best Of" more like random album tracks :calculating:

I never wanna see an album where I’m a slave 4 u is on the same track list as my baby.... but actually tho, I think this could be a cute concept: a greatest hits albums and a b side album of fan favorites (not my baby tho...)

No but I do own Britney: The Essentials which is a two disc album with all her hits. Best collection imo. I remember they released like five greatest hits albums within two years lol. What a mess. The essentials is definitely worth it because The Singles Collection doesn’t have all her singles and ends at 3. GH:MP was released way too soon. Other than that there’s also B In The Mix volumes 1 and 2. Volume 1 is far better but both are pretty good. The track list on The Best Of looks pretty random but it definitely has a great selection of her bubblegum pop days. Random but very strong and cohesive if you’re looking for squeaky cleaney bops. They should make a part two with her later hits but focus on her electronic and urban songs. A mid tempo hits album would be cool as well with a couple ballads thrown in. Britney is the Queen of mid tempo songs.

I contemplated buying it a few times, because Amazon always recommends it to me at like €4, but never got it due to the tragic tracklist... :tbh:

No Blackout song, but My Baby is there... I still believe that an intern randomly picked songs and sent that to some exec who approved the release without checking.

I mean, my little sister would make a better selection of Britney songs. :gloss:

Gotta love its Wikipedia page, though: "Its issuance with no official press release or announcement took both fans and critics by surprise. When fans on Twitter asked about the album, global distributor Sony Music stated they had no knowledge of the album."

Why would they put Oops!... I did it again before BOMT?  :decisions:

Because the CD is called Oops! I Did It Again: The Best of Britney Spears. :pieceofwhat:
