What are your B10 ideas? (Track titles, album titles, genres etc)

As it says on the tin. Here's kind of a collection of ideas that I've had recently:

ALBUM TITLE - b10logy

'b10logy' would be an album very much focused on growth and development as a human being, and reconciling the various different elements of your life together to achieve happiness and health - hence the title that also incorporates 'B10', her tenth album. There would also be hints of being free and liberated but not too much as realistically, I don't believe Britney would a) want to or b) be allowed to focus too heavily on what might be her eventual freeing from the conservatorship. But I think the theme should be implied at the very least. In terms of genres, it wouldn't be limited or restricted and would be quite an eclectic album while remaining mostly within a pop sound. I think an 11-track album a la Loud, all-killer and no-filler concept would be fab (but also I can't think of more than 11 songs :britoverit:). 

TRACKLIST

Track 1 - Nothing to Say / Translation 

'Nothing to Say / Translation' would be quite a long track separated into two halves; it's a ****** track revolving around how two partners become accustomed to each other's bodies and how words aren't needed anymore, merely how their bodies move and react to each other's touch. It's quite a stereotypical track I know and thematically similar to Mood Ring, but I feel like it'd be a lovely semi-sequel to that track. Sound-wise, I'd say it could be an electronic synth-y R&B song perhaps produced by KAYTRANADA? Mood Ring-esque with the Nothing to Say half but becoming more upbeat and club-ready in the Translation half. 

 

Track 2 - Acid Rain (with CALVIN HARRIS)

This would be the lead single and a collaboration with Calvin Harris. It'd very much aim to be a huge dance hit and in terms of sound, it'd be a combination of Calvin's early sounds with his I Created Disco album and the sound of his How Deep is Your Love song - a beautiful melding of '00s nu-disco and deep house with Britney's unique stamp on it. The lyrics would revolve around how someone's love and warmth might touch everyone and everything at once, but in an electrifying way - much like how acid rain burns everything as it hits the ground. 

 

Track 3 - Cocktail of Your Tears

This would be a very stand-offish, badass song in which Britney sings about wanting to be "drunk" from drinking a cocktail of someone's tears. It would be slightly reminiscent of Madonna's 'American Life' era, with an electronic undertone but a ballsy, folky-funk sound to it. I'd want Britney to be singing quite deep and angry in this song, a bit like in Liar and in the unreleased Rockstar. 

 

Track 4 - Ego Masseuse

This song could be about how Britney chooses to be a humble and kind celebrity, insisting that she doesn't need her ego massaged and she's happy being normal. Though perhaps sounding generic, I'd want this as quite a happy-go-lucky disco bop for people to enjoy and not think too much about. I'd want a Pharrell Williams/ Bruno Mars/ Daft Punk-esque production for it. 

 

Track 5 - Poisoned Prayers (with JANET JACKSON)

This song would be a collab with the one and only Janet Jackson, an opportunity for Britney to really get into her groove dancing-wise and take some inspiration from her biggest icon. I'd want this song to be a stomping synth-rock 80s style banger reminiscent of Janet's own songs from that era and also Lady Gaga's BTW album- a massive banger that lyrically touches on the toxic and devastating state of the world, and how things aren't changing no matter how much we pray for it. 

 

Track 6 - Rose

The second single would be a unique mixture of country and reggae, with the chorus seeing a play of words with "I rose from the thorns that came into my garden". As this suggests, it'd be about Britney rising above her struggles. I'd have Diplo as the producer of this song as he's quite good with the reggae-ish pop and mixing it with different instruments and sounds.

 

Track 7 - Breathless 

I'd do something quite fun with this song and base it around a sample from Destiny's Child's "Lose My Breath", using the drum beat from the start of it as part of a Weeknd-esque synth-pop instrumental. It'd be another mature but **** anthem, sort of a cross between I'm a Slave 4 U and Gimme More as Britney sings about being left "breathless" by the fast pace within a ****** relationship.

 

Track 8 - Welcome to the Jungle

I've no idea what the rumoured track by Danja would have sounded like but I really like the idea of this title for a song and a potential third single. I'd want it to sound as exotic as its title, perhaps again produced by Diplo or even Danja still. Lots of African drums and instruments with an overall reggaeton/ dancehall sound, with a bit of funk mixed in too- I'd almost want animal noises incorporated into the instrumental without sounding too messy. The lyrics would revolve around Britney welcoming listeners to the "jungle" of her life and all the craziness that it entails.

 

Track 9 - b10logy (featuring JAY-Z and MISSY ELLIOTT)

A title track! This song would be a hip hop banger along the lines of "Get Naked (I Got a Plan)" with self-confident lyrics boasting that no man could handle Britney's "biology" and the way she works/ moves. I thought Jay-Z and Missy would be fab features as they're two rappers you'd have expected to work with Brit by now but haven't and if Britney really is joining ROC Nation as rumoured, working with Jay would be a nice show of confidence between her and the label. 

 

Track 10 - Don't Ask

This would be a violin-led trap-pop song with quite an ominous sound, with Britney singing to listeners that sometimes she needs a bit of privacy and a bit of space and doesn't want to be asked about certain things in her life. 

 

Track 11 - Hologram 

This is quite a melancholic trance/ dance-pop song in which Britney sings about how her anxiety and mental health struggles have sometimes left her feeling "not really there" and not appearing fully present - whether that be in interviews, during performances or even vocally. Almost like a hologram. It'd be a summery, club-ready bop with emotional undertones - similar to Euphoria by Loreen or the works of Swedish House Mafia but produced to fit in with the sounds of 2020.

tbh i dont wanna think about B10  until we see a photo of britney back in the studio. it still feels like a dream to get a new britney album with everything going on

i actually felt like saying that but felt a bit mean saying it. im sure i even created a similar thread months and months ago when there was rumours she was releasing new music.

tbh i do think we will get a new album in 2021. i kinda believe the rumours shes planning on going back to the studio at end of summer. it makes sense to me. but i am a bit tired of [and this is no disrespect to the OP, tbf theres nothing else to talk about on here besides the cship which is why i dont post that often anymore like i used to] speculating of the new album. it feels like we are getting excited over something that isnt definite yet. i do think britney must be getting bored now of doing nothing........but we dont know that for definite. for all we know, she might be in her mind retired and has no plans whatsoever to make a new album. i highly doubt it, but we dont know for definite

for me, when we see a photo of britney in a recording studio, we can then get excited and start discussing B10. TBH i found the whole apple pie fiasco in 2018 tiring

PS. Im not dragging down the OP, Im also desperate for a new britney album :crying1:

Not that I am dragging the OP or anything like that, it’s just that I’m bored of it. Yeah, Ik music is taking a long while but just a month ago we already had 2 topics about it. So it feels so monotonous

I would love to see dark album (Blackout vibes). Around 13 songs and the last one would have freedom symbolism.

Album - Britney as exec. producer, Bloodshy & Avant, Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Shellback, Danja need to be brought back :lizzie: (Will.i.flop stay Away)

Photoshoot - La Chapelle and Kate Turning (Circus photoshoot) definitely not Randee:cheese:

Promo - interviews, tour ticket sells with album to boost sales, performances on VMA, AMA... (Something iconic to match her prime performances) :yeahhh:

Documentary - about Britney's personal life, conservatorship and way to freedom (no censorship), would be promoted similary to For the Record :kyliecry:

Tour -  worldwide, great production, Brian Friedman as choreographer, pre recorded vocals! :jj:

I'm all for fighting for our queen, but I'm not afraid to admit this takes a toll on my own mental health.

I think she should work with Max Martin. I’m so into his music and what he’s coming up with right now it’s so current. 

I think she should go for a dark album but not like Blackout just more moody. She suits that kind of style with her whispery tones eugh I’m so here for it

Sorry guys for discussing such an oversaturated topic! :tiffanycries: I can assure you my main priority for Britney is to fight her c-ship and to get her life back and be happy :mhm: As a relative newcomer I haven't really seen the extent to which B10 topics have been churned out so apologies; I've had these ideas for ages and just wanted to share them somewhere that was as passionate about Britney as I was! :katycream:
