What is Britney afraid of?

I don't quite understand why she isn't speaking out about the #FreeBritney movement and the conservatorship.

I mean most likely she's afraid that they are going to take away her children? She has 30% custody now.

Or maybe she is really mentally unstable and can't make choices for herself?

I don't know what to believe anymore because these theories are getting out of hand... I'm just concerned for her.

If she speaks out, they threaten her. Her boys are collateral to the team. All she has to say is, "No" and her father or Lou or Jodi even can say "Oh. Okay, well, you won't see your boys next week and maybe even the week after."

It's bad enough she only sees them for like 3 hrs every 2 weeks. Imagine seeing them once or not at all till a month later (or longer) because you refused to do something that they demanded from you.

Because she's isn't allowed to. Plus i think she wants to get out of it legally speaking first, so she has to behave like the court ask her.

There is only one correct answer to Britney's downturn: Not cutting her contractual obligations in 2004-2005.  Not K-fed, not 2006-conservatorship.

Since her mother and "team" prevented her from marrying Jason Alexander, her marrying someone like Kevin Federline was a blatant indication she wanted a new life, career and/or image. But you can't stop there. This means not re-signing with Jive, or re-signing with Jive with substantial control over her image, sound and music.  This, of course, never happened.

Blackout and the rest of the albums/tours after meant nothing because of her still being completely beholden (constantly staying in public eye, tabloids, and even more constrained since conservatorship etc...)  to her contractual obligations she never enhanced back in 2004-2005.

If she speaks out she would be restricted with any contact to her sons, then she would be called crazy because she doesn't use meds and then end up in clinic like last year. It's sad that she can't do anything :crying1: But she could use her boytoy to get free :jj:

She’s probably afraid of the consequences. We know how her team controls the media and we also know the media is willing to spread lies in exchange of money.

Even if she does speak out, the world will call her crazy and no one would believe her, not to mention that there’s NOTHING the public can do to help her.

She might want to get out of it legally before addressing the public, or maybe she’s waiting until her sons are both 18.

Unpopular opinion that will attract a lot of downvotes: while Britney might be mentally unstable and her conservatorship seems unjustified, I think her team LOVES the attention she is getting again, as Britney Spears: The Brand is resurfacing from a relative irrelevancy for the first time after several years. Both Britney's silence and the overall mystery around this fact successfully fuel all this curiosity. For instance, it's funny how her followers on Instagram notably increased in the last weeks, as well as even the general public is sympathizing with her character (probably for the first time in forever). Curiously, some fierce 'heroes' of the FreeBritney movement are actually happy with that, pointing out how 'Britney is so powerful that she can gain everyone's attention doing nothing', as if this is a Britney's merit.

Wasn't the rumor that GHMP was her last album before renewing with Jive? Because looking back she really looked ready and aligned to clean full house, including record label wise, but something went wrong. Maybe someone backstabbed her in regards to record label contracts?
