What's with the weird spam threads taking up the general section

It took me 4 pages to get to a normal thread

I was out for 12 hours. I just got home to 168 notifications and the General section is a mess.

I just finished cleaning up these spam threads and banned these bot accounts.

There were lots of spam threads I can't remember exactly what they were saying because I avoided clicking them but one I did click I think was about finding love with a link and the thread titles were also tYpEd LiKe tHis lol
