Tamar Braxton reportedly attempted to commit suicide. She's currently in stable condition but still unconscious and is under 24-hour watch at a Los Angeles hospital, The Blast reports.

Tamar was staying at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown Los Angeles with her boyfriend David Adefeso. David reportedly found Tamar "unresponsive" and called 911 to report that Tamar had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills with alcohol.

Ambulances transported Tamar from the hotel to the hospital.

Police are calling it a "possible overdose." They're currently investigating further.

The year just gets rougher and rougher by the day :( Hoping Tamar pulls through.1589391324_images-2020-07-17T211312_593.jpeg.b2484d5b7da432577bf2cc2645d8bbdb.jpeg

I hope she stays safe and strong. God, please be by her side and help her :crying1:

But on the other note...

Why do people go and commit this? You think that’s the solution to your struggles? :hillary: It just proves that you failed the test of life . There are so many people who struggled so badly, yet they haven’t done it. They still manage to wake up everyday and look at the positive side. Britney alone is an example of that. The fact after all she went through, she still went through it all and stay strong should be admired. Committing this isn’t going to solve anything. You r bringing sadness and guilt to the people like your parents who raised you up with so much love to live on your on. You make them feel like a joke. In the end, you won’t go to heaven but you will remain a wandering spirit on earth for being a coward.

Everyone deals with trauma and pain in different ways. Her reaction is unfortunate but it is hard to know what she is struggling with without walking in her shoes. l understand where your coming from but looking to the positive side can be really difficult for some people. Not everyone is Britney.

How easy you make it sound, its not a failing of them either. Like people can't help it, especially if they are in deep depression and are so overwhelmed by life itself. Its not about other people, everyone thinks its so easy its not. And some people feel there loved ones are better off without them.

Saying this you sound like someone who hasn't struggled deeply with Mental Health issues or Suicidal thoughts. I had attempted a form of Suicide  at 13 and have Suicidal thoughts when i am in my lowest depression, and its not as simple as "yeah people who have struggled haven't done it". You don't think of that at all. You think how worthless you are, how worthless your life is. How better people will be off without you, and how sometimes it feels like the only way out.

Like its not about other people, and your post is so highly uneducated on the subject, and very disrespectful towards people who do suffer.

To Tamar i really hope she gets some help after this, and i hope she is safe when she does awaken. And that it will get better

It's not your right to judge people , just because you can't understand or feel the pain of another human being . How insensitive and out of touch :teigen:

**** I read my statement and I sounded too harsh. So sorry. However committing it isn’t the answer to yr struggles. You can still make it out

Well , try to see things from other perspectives (I don't think it's the solution either and I would at least try to seek help before coming to a final decision) but even if you think that you are stronger than others and that you'll never be in a situation where you have to commit suicide that's good for you, but unfortunately not everyone is strong enough or have privileges , especially since it's just in I wouldn't blame and shame her before she even recovered from that .

Sorry for saying this. It came off really bad but this wasn’t the tone I wanted to send off. I am super sorry because I sounded so insensitive and made it seem like a joke. I am sorry everyone

Yes, but I have always felt that it isn’t the answer. Some people are not strong enough, but they shouldn’t give up. Even if we r on the verge of falling, we shouldn’t let go. We should hold on to it and get up, because we CAN. We were born on earth for a reason, each of these reasons are to contribute towards the earth. We cannot cut short the life SOMEONE else gave.

Yes, so sorry for making it sounding that way. I have edited my post saying this because I was making their suffering seem as a joke. So sorry

Because I too have gone through that feeling. I have felled to the worst thoughts of mine but I didn’t give up . I re-read my statement and edited because I noticed that I came off as ****ty, rude, and insensitive. Sorry

Whilst i know you are young, it won't hurt to educate yourself before you comment on situations like this. Language in these types of situations are very important, and calling people cowards and that the failed doesn't help anyone and makes you seem privileged and bratty.

Shame is what alot of people with issues feel on their own we don't need to add to that as a whole.

Super sorry I didn’t mean to say that I truly mean that I am so sorry I shouldn’t call them covers I am so extremely sorry. I really am sorry I didn’t mean. I am sorry. I a, really sorry

Yes I think you definitely have the right approach and it's healthy to want to survive, but I would still not judge if I've never been in someone else's position , I think sometimes things can get really hopeless and sad and I can't fathom someone's capacity , so I really hope neither any of us have to go through such hard time that will put us in her situation.  Anywayz wishing her speedy recovery and I hope she'll get well . 🙏

Nobody deserves to have that life. I hope she stays safe and gets well. Once again, I am 100000000000x sorry
