Just watched the whole thing. I didn’t realize how prevalent Jamie was during the film!

I watched it last night. It gains a whole new meaning after more than 10 years.

I still think some kind of forced intervention was needed. Britney was a crazy walking mess before her family stepped in, being used and abused by leeches.

But I did notice that she was so much more eloquent and articulate back in 2008 than she is now.

And it left me worried... about current Britney. Something is definitely going on... mentally.

I wanna watch it so bad. But FTR hit me hard back in the day and whenever I reached it. I think it will be too much now. Knowing what I have learned in past 2 years alone :(

Unfortunately on youtube they just deleted the video and that was the prime source of watching FTR if i wanted to. You can probably check Vimeo since they have alot of videos that cant be found on youtube

I didn’t realize it was rare now. I had the DVD when it came out, but have moved 7-8x since then and have no idea where it is ... I hope I still have it somewhere 😭

I also recently found my Live From Las Vegas Dream Within A Dream DVD and it doesn’t play properly anymore 😢😓 The only HQ version I could find online has audio sync issues, so if any of you have a good file available, please let me know!

Well being on medication (heavy or not) you might need (or not) for a decade (on and/or off) would definitely take its toll on you too

@RadicalMedia produced it, but Sony Records’ name was on it too. It was distributed by MTV, but idk what rights MTV has. They do throwback video streams because they bought out rights to music videos back in the day in perpetuity, so they don’t have to pay to air Crazy in Love, Toxic, etc....but idk about For the Record! Also, her managers were in every scene, like hawks, outside of the sit down interviews with her. And who knows how many people were on the other side of the camera when it was just her.

It was crazy to see Jamie so much. Britney called him an a-hole, he made her children cry on Halloween, he tries to take her phone and they scream at each other, tells her she’s wearing hooker heels, and Britney makes fun of him by impersonating him yelling at Britney and her brother as kids. I mean, all family’s have their issues. Yet it was clear from him talking about how Circus came to be, that he didn’t feel in control. He was ‘allowing’ it to get her out of the house and then “my gosh, now we are shooting a video!”

One of the saddest parts, for me, was when she was flirting with a boy and she gets his number...but then talks about how it just wouldn’t be possible with her current life, and she has to wake up from it like from a Dream. She has always wanted to just be free and come and go as she pleases. The whole thing is just very insightful and interesting to watch. Then, I’m sure, and especially now.

The problem is conservatorship post-Circus, for instance.  Circus could be seen as "rehabilitative", and she was contractually obligated to tour because she didn't for Blackout.

But the issue is 2011-present.  It's definitely true that people in general go through their ups and downs everyday and while Britney is entitled to privacy, they put her up their performing in the public domain.  And her performing, what built her career, declined drastically and they never explained it.

I don't think you can blame people for being so inquisitive since so many invested in her.

Anyway, my take is that she should have left Jive in 2004-2005 when her contract was up (after Greatest Hits) to start her own label or re-sign with Jive giving her strong control over her image, music and sound.  After four multi-platinum albums, it was time.
