India is part of the continent named Asia. 

Ex: Mexico is part of the north american continent.

That said, Indians are geographically Asian and Mexicans are geographically North American. Although some Mexicans refer to themselves as Central Americans. 

Nationality wise, people from India are Indians and people from Mexico are Mexicans
