In a new interview leading up to the week before her 4Th album, Brightest Blue, her first album in 5 years.

 

Ellie disses most of her older work and visuals for it's ****** imagery, saying she's uncomfortable being seen as a ****** person outside her marriage as that's just for her husband and not the world to enjoy. 

She also admits most of her records prior to Brightest blue, she was highly drunk and wants to distance herself from those records. Her upcoming tour will just be Brightest Blue and her favorite songs as covers.

 

As For Delirium, she calls it a great pop record, but not an Ellie Goulding record.

Literally my exact words. Exactly what I've been saying since that album's release.  But I'm not surprised. Once they see potential in you, they make you sell out by going full pop and sexing it up.
