An old interview with Mariah Carey popped up and it revealed a collaboration with Madonna did happen.

I'm beyond shocked, Mariah Carey's glitter almost went into a different direction , Working with Patrick Leonard (big producer of Madonna's beloved 80s classics) on a highly personal song called AngelFire, Both MC and PL thought it would be perfect to call up Madonna yo add her input, Then William orbit Came in made it into a modern production. 

 

The only reason why I think it's unreleased is Mariah worked with too many people in Madonna's camp. 

 

Instead of it Being a Mariah Carey song, It would have been in the mind of fans and reviewers as a Madonna song that she gave away to Mariah Carey.
