"Invitation" is the best intro song of all her albums

It's like a perfect beginning for an album. Britney's voice feels so close to you, it announces how personal this album is going to be. It's like she's singing directly from her soul/heart and she invites you in her personal world. It's intriguing, it's melodic, it's pure pop perfection. It's too bad the album itself is so inconsistent, the songs order is a mess aswell..

Baby One More Time, Oops I Did It Again, I'm A Slave 4 U, MATM, Gimme More, Womanizer, and TTWE literally all wash Invitation away but slé us with that flop opinion

I think it's her only "intro" song as no other of her albums has an introduction to the album. I agree it works perfectly, magically, and it's pop perfection. I find it so relaxing and just awesome

None of them are introducing the album, there's just track number 1. Glory is more conceptual in that sense. Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga used this concept on their last albums too.

at least when referring to the concept of the album, Gimme More and Alien are better openers than Invitation. although with Glory, Invitation is definitely the best choice as the album opener.

Alien is an horrible song, never got what the hype was all about. Orbit really messed up big time on the production, this song feels empty.

was it him? i thought it was will.i.am that messed up the final production. anyway, lyrically and conceptually, it represents what that album was supposed to be about - the loneliness of pop life.

It's a good into song because it kind of reflects the mood of an album + lyrics + title of the song..

BUT i can't say the best cause we have BOMT that was not only begining of an album but of her career and it build her legacy..

p.s. I like gimme more too cause there is iconic into phrase that become HUGE..
