I’m from the UK and I remember when she came back in 2008 with Circus. I remember the buzz around the X Factor performance of Womanizer. Everyone was so excited and we had to wait the full night for her performance. The performance itself is we good but mediocre for Britney’s standards. Her dancing was mainly walking/throwing dancers around the stage. The dance break was the only part I saw bits of prime Britney. She refused to work with the contestants behind the stage which already had people’s backs up in the press as she was already perceived as being weird/divaish. 

I don’t remember much more promotion in the UK after that. To add insult to injury during the Circus tour she only went to London and Manchester. She didn’t even come to Scotland where I’m from, same with the FF tour. The only tour she came here with was OHT and POM.

I think the lack of promotion has let her down. It was virtually non existent during FF
