    Growing up in Canada Carly Rae jepsen grew up in a folk music household, But I'm not surprised quite Honestly. It does Seem from Alanis Morissette to Jewel People from the northern world are very folk music inspired as they don't sing songs but tell stories. 

     

    Even doing pop music, Carly can't escape that tradition, Hell Call me maybe was originally a folk music track before the dance pop transformation..

     

    Carly's first introduction to fun. GUILTY FREE, POP MUSIC WAS The Spice Girks. 

     

    Stream Tug of War, Carly's only Folk music inspired album in her catalog .
