I listened To ARTPOP for the first time in-full

I got bored so I decided to listen to ARTPOP by Lady Gaga. 

 

And it’s not that bad! 

 

MANiCURE and Applause are the best songs, hand down 

Followed by Sexxx Dreams, Gypsy, and Jewels N’ *****.

I like Venus  I listened to it nonstop back in the day.

As for the ranking, Artpop is a nice album although I've never listened to it in full. I do love a lot of songs from it though.

Edit: The original idea was for it to be called Burqua, the demo leaked a while ago and I believe the song was supposed to be part of the paparazzi-telephone-aura/burqua trilogy. At least the music video was supposed to be the continuation of Telephone. It's sad that the label got scared of a potential negative outbreak  given the politics at the time so they changed the concept, scrapped the music video and destroyed an epic music video saga. Ugh.

I love it, it's a really solid album imo that was overlooked at the time. There's so many good songs. I also love Do What U Want which deserved bigger success, although I probably listen to the Xtina version more now. I wish that version had been on the album and had the music video  

Dope is okay but I prefer the original version of the song (I Wanna Be With You).

To me, the best songs are:

1. Artpop
2. Venus
3. Fashion!
4. Applause
5. Do What U Want
6. G.U.Y. <- I rediscovered it recently and got obsessed with it for like 5 days straight. Thank God I forgot it again  
7. Gypsy
8. Aura

The rest I don't remember, I would have to listen to the album again  but there was one that was a bit more rock-ish, I don't know if it's Swine or Manicure, but I didn't like that  but with the other songs I mentioned was enough to make it a good album

Btw, I don't know from which era is it, but I remember a live performance of a song Princess Die. I liked that as well.
