Give Tidal and When The Pawn a listen. She has always been pop - with mellow melodies on piano, with a lot of emotions conveyed through her voice. Her last two albums have been very experimental, but at most I'd say she has been doing alternative pop. 

So ye, she is pop. And she gets my vote easily.
