This Day in Pop: Britney Spears releases Radar single in 2009 (June 22)

On June 22, 2009 Britney Spears released Radar as the fourth and final single from her album Circus. The song was originally released as part of Blackout (2007) and was even intended to be released as the fourth single off that album. However, it was cancelled and ended up being included as a bonus track on Circus

It peaked at #88 on the BBH100 and at #30 on the Pop Songs chart.

 

 

She performed the song on her tour The Circus Starring Britney Spears

 

It was also used as an interlude on her residency show Britney: Piece of Me

Both "Radar" and "Radar" are some of my least favorite Britney songs, so I don't even know why I clicked on this thread.

I just wish the video was better but I can’t deny the sheer brilliance and impact of the horse

I love Radar. Wish it had done better as a single and had a better video. I personally associate it more with Blackout though tbh
