TakeYourHand
Britney took a risk with that song. Her talking parts are very different and almost don’t sound like her at all. She really stepped out of the box. Music was shifting at that time as well. EDM was fading and putting out this song was almost like a great way to close that chapter of music. I’d also like to add that she stepped out of the box for the video and really stepped up into the editorial fashion game which was fresh for her. She also wore her hair back and exposed her forehead which she said is one of her biggest insecurities in life. The song is simple and catchy and I’m happy it’s so well perceived by the public but oddly not by fans. Happy it just rose up again. Link to comment
YannFrance
It was a way of making her popular again for the GP and it worked perfectly. Link to comment

Eh I think that’s easy to say because the song is a commercially successful EDM track but I still see the artistry in it and the efforts put into making it more than just a generic pop song created for money. Hence the points I made in the topic. Link to comment
Style.
Everything about Scream and Shout is iconic. Even the remix, which was super cool. Diddy is super exclusivist when it comes to music so I was so happy to see this combo. Imagine the rebranding if she stayed with that sound and image. Link to comment

Change is good but only when Britney herself is the one evolving and not her team shoving us with manufactured crap. I think Scream & Shout was mainly Will.I.Am’s creative aesthetic and Britney was slightly inspired and trusted him enough to do something completely new and different than her normal brand. It worked. Link to comment
