Unpopular Britney Opinions

So what are some opinions about Britney you have that most of her fan base or GP normally don’t agree on? I see myself having a lot of unpopular opinions based on what I read here. Here’s some of mine

- Glory is overrated
- Break the Ice video is good
- The Happiest Britney ever looked was in Chaotic 
- Work B was actually one of my least fav songs from BJ. I used to like most of the tracks of the album the first couple years after the album release
- Brave New Girl is one of my fav songs from ITZ

anyways this is some of mines, please don’t kill me! Let me hear yours

This was spot on my opinion! Except for BJ.

• Glory is overhyped in the fandom
• Brave new girl is awesome and deserves lesser hate
• Her most experiment albums are Circus, ITZ, Britney and Blackout
• BJ had potential to be a great body of work, but was ruined by Wil.Li.Am, Myah Marie, fillers and autotune
• BJ should have just been an EP for promotion sake of Piece of me residency
• Jive was a amazing record label in terms of promotion
• Britney is part of Spears trinity :) 
• Britney is underrated as a songwriter/composer
• Circus is an amazing album. Definitely a no.4 for me
• Same for femme fatale. She lacked soul, but not bops ;) 
• Besides the album, Britney looked energetic, happy and amazing during the Britney Jean era
• In the zone is Britney’s beauty peak
• STOP COMOARING BRIT AND XTINA, MA GOD!

Femme Fatale, Glory, Circus = Holy trinity 

Blackout is better than In The Zone

Pretty Girls isn't bad song / video

Brave New Girl is better than most of the songs on ITZ

Britney Jean (despite being the worst album) has one of the best album photoshoots

Onyx Hotel Tour is overrated (too much dancing, DWAD is better)

Femme Fatale tour is better than Circus tour (more dancing, pre recorded vocals, storyline)

Slumber Party & Make Me shouldn't be singles (DYWCM, Liar, Better, Love Me Down need justice)

Jive wasn't that bad compared to RCA

Randee should be fired

Mood Ring deserved to be a bonus track, it’s not as great as fans make it out to be! 

Pretty Girls is not a bad song

Work ***** is her weakest lead single 

Femme Fatale has not aged well 

Circus is one of her best albums

Make Me and Slumber Party were both great single choices 

Love Me Down is overrated 

Liar is one of the weaker tracks on Glory 

Boys should not have been a single 

Criminal is the worst single she’s ever released

I feel like we have a thread like this every few weeks. Someone should make a general unpopular opinions thread that doesn't revolve just around Britney. 

Anyway:

• I think Britney and Sam are cute together
• "Toxic" has a boring chorus
• "Hold It Against Me" is trash
• "Boys" is boring, and I haven't listened to it in so long that I don't even know what the difference between the two versions is
• "Work Bish" is trash
• Sam Lutfi is lowkey daddy AF

I might start a 3rd world war here, but:

- I hate the original and the official videos for Make Me, they are awful, 100% trash

- The VMA of 2016 is the worst VMA from her, random moves, arm moves, obvious lip sync, no real choreography, no consistent.

- The VMA of 2007 is actually better than the most performances of the last decade. Even if she lip synced, she danced at least.

- I don't like her vulgar and provocative music videos, even if the songs are awesome.

- Please stop wearing those vulgar/provocative outfits while performing. I want to see her with CLOTHES, any outfits that help her to dance easily with dancers who also wear clothes. Just like in her first eras of BOMT and OIDIA eras

- Stop using her 16 yo vocals on her today's performances, her team even pitched more the vocals compared to the original vocals on some performances... A shame.

Sam is good for her and they seem to love each other. Maybe they will never get married nor have kids but the relationship is real.

-One of my favorite Britney songs is Dont Keep Me Waiting

-I really like Don’t Cry from BJ And My Baby from circus, with my baby I feel like we’re getting a look into her soul and I appreciate that 

-she’s completely underrated as a writer/composer, she creates fantastic melodies 

-she isn’t given nearly enough credit for her intelligence 

-I think she’s a very clever person who  portrays herself in the way that she does on purpose at times “sometimes you just have to play the role of a fool to fool the fool who thinks they are fooling you” (don’t know who’s quote that is) 

-I think with the C-Ship she’s been scheming for awhile now and when the time is right she’s going to drop all her evidence that no one could deny, I think the C-Ship team plays checkers and Britney has been playing chess so to speak.

-In the Zone is better than Blackout 

-this might not be an “unpopular opinion” but I think she should direct music videos for herself and other artists as well, her concepts are fire 

-I don’t dislike Sam at all, I believe their relationship is real and he hasn’t proposed yet b/c they both know it would possibly mean he’d be her conservator and neither of them want that 

-I think we’ll get a baby before we get a new album

Hard To Forget Ya is one of the best songs on Glory

The last time she put on a completely full out Britney concert was a few shows during Circus tour.

She started to dumb down her dancing during ITZ, but still put in effort.

Work ***** is trash exploitive gay song that only appeals to a small minority of music listeners and is technically not a Britney song.

Pretty Girls is a decent pop song and people choose to hate it because Iggy is on it and the video is bad.
