"Mood Ring" Debuts at #23 on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100

Mood Ring enters the Bubbling Hot 100 at #23.

Not bad for a 4 year old song thats been available on the Internet and on YouTube since 2016. Apparently it's done over 30,000 units. 13,750 being pure sales.

Mood Ring hasn't been realised as a single and doesn't have a MV

its only promotion is literally a tweet

thats true but also they could have done better with the album, all her albums past 2009
imagine if femme fatale had 3 singles in the top ten, what would have happened if they were actually really promoted (not counting the vegas nightclub gma and jimmy kimmel)
imagine if she actually did the performance for work ***** on the newyears eve in 2017 when the song was released 
if we got the actual video for perfume which is a great song and she performed with live vocals on some show

All three albums have such missed opportunities i can't even

If Mood Ring was released this week it would have probably enter the hot 100, the problem is that you can see, all of the tracks of chromatica are on the charts now, this was such a missed opportunity, but whatever it wasn't a single

I hope that all those videos that make compilations of the musics in the charts will help Mood Ring, bc they get some views (not millions but atleast something) I hope it goes up to top 120 next week.

U guys are upset but 13k for a lead single that’ll have bigger streams due to a mv and forced radio play due to the payola they do will ensure it cracking top 20 on bb 100. This is literally a song that’s on there based off sales alone.

People streaming hundreds of songs for $10/month (less if students) have more chart power than people paying 1 song for $1.29.

Mood Ring is the second most sold track of the week in the US, but it failed to chart on the Hot 100...

The Billboard formula is broken!

 

It almost missed the Bubbling Under chart, by the way (23 out of 25), and got almost overtaken by Gaga's interlude Chromatica I...
