You should remove the political forum then tbh. It's one thing to defend your fave, but defending your life and beliefs is taking things to a whole new level of feeling personally attacked.

I know staying silent is not the way to go on matters but there's tons of other forums that cater to political issues.

I disagree. I like being able to discuss political issues or raise awareness here. It's one of the only places I can talk politics without trolls or Russian bots or complete divisiveness taking place. Productive conversation seems to be regular in the political threads here. Obviously, tensions are just heightened more than usual right now.

The combination of Exhale being a safe space + politics discussions should allow people to express their views and see other points of views without it turning into a cesspool like how usual online political discussions go.

I'm going to respectfully disagree. This is exactly one of the problems in the US right now. It's important to speak out about pressing issues, that's why this place exists, but needs to be done in a way that doesn't attack others.

From the great Martin Luther King Jr.

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter.”

You're right! This was always a fun pop music loving escapism for many of us. I believe in your vision to create a community.

At the end of the day, I think BH has a lot of, uh, sorta off topic subjects from pop music. If you wanna completely avoid conflict, yeah, you'd have to take the political stuff away. But at the same time, pop music is very much talking about politics right now here on this day. You sorta have to talk about it all right now.

But as long as we get a little comic relief and not just completely focus on the bad, I think this is a great site. After all, we all are here with a common interest: Jordan Miller's Only Fans pop music.

Like Harry has been saying for years, treat people with kindness.

Exactly. We can't just pretend this isn't going on. Imagine only having topics that are like, Rain On Me is #1, Mood Ring is so flawless when people are dying and the country is imploding. I want Exhale to actually make a difference for the better. It can't do that if we dig our heads in the sand.

That being said, if we only talk about riots all day, I think we'll all go crazy.

Whether you like it or not, politics shapes our world, and I think it's great there's a political forum for us to discuss what's going on in the world. But as Jordan said, no one on this forum should feel the need to personally attack someone based on what they believe in.

Hey Exhale, Jordan here.

2020 is a really wild year for the world. The pandemic has been difficult enough to cope with, but now there's an added-on layer with the tragic death of George Floyd. The US is literally up in flames, and it's bringing out emotions in people that might've laid dormant otherwise.

Exhale is a community designed to be a safe space for members.

My mission is to give lovers of pop music and pop culture a place to connect with others who share like-minded interests, connect and engage with one another. It's important to me to foster a positive environment, ESPECIALLY now, because in some small way it contributes to making the world a better place.

Because emotions are high, I've noticed more tension and conflict amongst the community. For a community to thrive, it's actually imperative that not everyone shares the same outlook / opinion on things, however convey your thoughts and words in a way that's thoughtful and respectful towards others. Act with deliberate intention before hitting that reply button versus flying off at the handle and posting something that's impulsive.

Myself and the moderators @Roxxy & @puppylo16 would like to remind you of the rules you agreed to prior to registering.

The rules page clearly states what is acceptable and what is not. I want you to revisit it please.

In a nutshell, it says BE KIND.

Because I've seen some Exhalers attacking others, the moderators and I are going to start using a Warning Points system.

I personally created it with the intention of warning members first before taking permanent action against them. That's because I believe in working things out amicably with someone "in the wrong" and reaching a level of understanding before laying down the hammer.

Essentially, if you post something that breaks one of our rules, your account is issued warning points based off the infraction. You must acknowledge the warning before continuing to post. If you receive one too many warning points, your account could be suspended, or in some cases, banned.

Exhalers, it's also worth reminding you that if you see a post that is very offensive, if 3 separate Exhalers report it using the report button on that comment, it will automatically be hidden from view. Don't abuse this power as a means to gang up on someone. It's designed for you to also contribute towards making Exhale a better place.

I recognize that there is a power struggle taking place in the US, and now Exhale is rolling out sanctions, however I will NOT allow Exhale to free-fall into a place that becomes toxic and uninviting like it has in the past. If that means less traffic because members think they should be allowed to name-call/disrespect others and view that as censorship, then so be it. That is a sacrifice I am willing to make for the betterment of Exhale.

If you have any questions, I encourage you to privately DM myself, @Roxxy or @puppylo16 versus posting your concerns publicly. Warnings will not be issued retroactively - only moving forward from this moment on.

I know that was a lot of information to absorb. What I hope you took away from it is that I want Exhale to thrive, and the only way of that happening is by setting up some general boundaries and asking members who want to participate to abide by them.

Thank you so much for participating and believing in Exhale. Your support literally means everything to me, and I just want to protect the specialness of the community.

Good vibes and love,
- Jordan

Talking about warning points, I got 20 WPs a long time ago for posting a non-explicit gif from a **** scene and I still see those WPs.

When do they expire? :juggingu:

Edit: why is the word **** even censored here? :frenchy:

I cleared your warning points. Please feel free to DM me next time about a personal matter like this! 🙏

Also that word is censored cause it goes against Google's publisher terms.

Thanks Jordan! :hugs:

Oh I did not know this censorship was in place to protect the ad revenue. Make sense, though I wish Google would be a bit less strict. :tbh:
