This☝️ The public either sees Britney as a joke or they pity her. She will never live it down. She and her team had every opportunity to change the “crazy-trainwreck-poor Britney” narrative but collectively Britney and Team Cship have botched it! Only the loyal stans will overlook the current state of Britney & the Britney Brand.  It’s totally sad. It’s not all Britney’s fault since she’s not been in full, sole legal control of her life. Which is why her team and dare I say her family is to blame for the other part of destroying her image. 
If Britney can be and stay mentally & personally healthy is what matters most whether she ever works again, but the long lasting impact of these IG vids, how she presents herself online or in public as well as on stage does matter in how she’s perceived.

It’s really sad... this has become the perception of Britney.

I mean even earlier she used to be parodied as naive and dumb blonde. But there were so many instances in which she showed a high emotional and intuitional intelligence. Watching her Dianne sawyer interview again a few weeks ago showed me how forward thinking and aware she was for that time... 

 Now it seems easier for her to just play into the narrative people think of her. People are going to see what they want to see anyway. It has really not been helpful to isolate her and deprive her of any access to the outside world. (I remember in 2011 she didn’t know she had a Twitter or what that was etc.) 

I actually think she has access to her Instagram now, because it reminds me of the beginning when it was new. Everybody had warped tiles, drawers etc in the background (even myself) and didn’t realize that until you learned to pay attention to that detail. You can still see this kind of pics by some people if you look closely...

I really hope they haven’t completely fried her brain and she gets help to take control of her life again. It’s beyond me why this reintroduction to life hasn’t happened long ago (1-2 years after conservatorship). It’s been freaking 12 years. She seems less aware and detoriating year by year..

 

I wish she gets back on her feet and gets to live her life on her terms.. This is just not healthy for her to live in a fabricated and isolated world. Breaks my heart..

Britney may not understand how It works, but her boyfriend can't help? He knows what people commented every post, he works as Influencer... Even If Britney posts herself, I really don't see how any person around her didn't say her videos gives her a bad image. It's like... They want people to see this Britney, which also shows conflict in how much she really knows about the perception of the public of her. Her goal is to be a joke? She allegedly reads comments, but nothing changed... 

I don't think they fried her brain, there's lots of ways to abuse mentally someone. One example: severe manipulation, gaslighting. I think that's what happened.

I dont get why everyone is looking so much into what this says about how the public percieves her etc etc etc.

Imo, it just comes down to: shes from southern US, and shes pure.

Comedy that turns being southern and pure hearted into being "simple minded" is very common. Its one of the most common characters played in comedy actually. And its not necessarily indicative of the person being parodied, its just a popular stereotypical character.
