Will good choreography make a comeback?

As we are all aware, genuine pop music has taken a dive in popularity since 2015. Genuine pop stars are increasingly harder to find these days.
But remember the good old days when it was about the whole package? And within that package was choreography that simply slayed your existence? 
Why is that so hard to find these days? Madonna, MJ, Janet, Britney... these high caliber pop acts embodies what it meant to be a pop spectacle. Hits, moves and the charisma to pull it off. 
 

Do you think another star is due to joint their ranks? Has anyone noteworthy come along already? Can high skill, eye-catching choreography make a comeback? :decisions:
 

Personally, I hope so. I like a full show vs watching someone stand there for 90 mins and sing. But no one since Britney has really come close for me. Janet still out-dances the new talent and so did Madonna until recently.

Love her or hate her but as far as "popstar package" is concerned, Ariana Grande is the only one doing it like how a popstar should be doing it. :chrissy:

She may not be as influential as Taylor or sold as much as her, but Ariana is more a popstar than Taylor will ever be. :tiffdrink:

I stan both popstars fyi (for the defensive Swifties who will come for me, I probably own more Taylor Swift physical albums than you streaming fanatics so don't even try to come for me). But Taylor is 7 albums in and she's still a Mandy Moore. She didn't even become a Jessica Simpson or an Xtina at best. Taylor is sooo stuck on this idea of who she thinks she is or should be - "an artisté". She has a different view of what a popstar is, or should be. It's a very 2020 woke approach and I am not here for wokeness.

I guess cause i'm a 31 year old sl-t. I appreciate those who are like me. :barbie:

Ariana sells herself the same way as Madonna and Britney. Singing. Dancing. Smex. It may be debatable if she's a smex symbol or if she even is smexy at all. She is also not even 30% of the kind of dancer that Britney is. But Ariana on stage - sings, dances, and is very smexual. She's h0eing it up. She sells herself as smexual, a *****, a h0e, a sl-t - and I really like that. :mattafact:

I've said this before and I'll say it again, a true popstar is who you want to be when you're wet in the shower and feeling smexy. It's Ariana I perform in the shower. I h0e it up to 7 Rings and Break Free and Side to Side and Focus. I mean, who wants to perform Shake It Off in the shower? Those are for losers. :ehidk:

She dances more than Taylor though. She may not be "good" but atleast she tries to incorporate h0e moves in her performances. Something Taylor never does cause she sees herself as a "Grammy winning artisté".  :tiffdrink:

But she’s not really in the same league as Janet or Britney in terms of just absolutely OBLITERATING the choreo. 
 

And Taylor can. not. dance :lessons:

So she’s out.

Also Taylor has never dropped an Explicit and now to think about it I think she’s one of the few popular artists that hasn’t had an explicit album :gloriascary:

I don't think big complex choreo is gonna comeback. But I can tolerate that at least a lot of the girls are giving us a lil' 2 step. Ari & Dua serve decent choreo most of the time and even Katy and Taylor will try their hand at an 8 count or 2. But as far as moderately challenging choreos like Slave 4 U, Single Ladies, and All For You are dead. Except for Little Mix they STAY SERVING dance breaks.
