Piece of Me tour was horrendous 

She was completely out of sync with her dancers, she was basically just doing whatever the hell she wanted and "having fun" 

Looks disasterous

She should've take a break after 2016. It might have helped her mentally by staying busy, keeping performing but it's like she couldn't function and execute the moves correctly even tough she had a lot of energy.

Its because at this point she was like 90% improvising. Like, she knew her left foot needs to be somewhere around here in the next 3 seconds, her right hand needs to be up there in the next 4 seconds, but she completely lacked the practice and therefore precision needed to execute it nicely. Not to mention all those tics

2016ney was definitely more polished yes, but some performances actually got better on the Piece of Me tour, like Break the Ice and Piece of Me.
