Melanie C did an interview in the Australian press.

Promoting her new single "Who I Am" the first single from her upcoming as of yet Untitled 8th Solo album. And overall her sixth independent album through Her own record label Red Girl Records.

In the chat, she  touched on a lot of things.

First, The Spice girls original plan to take it to stadiums in north America,  Latin America and Australia were all derailed thanks to one of the members...  SPICERS speculate it's Geri. As she is still angry at Mel B for applying they had *** together.

This is why she's wearing white and dressing conservatively now. White means Virginity in some religious way.

That's why it was only the UK. So Geri can say she finally did Wembley stadium after all these years.

She revealed why her daughter Scarlet was the only Spice kid not on stage during "Mama." It's her way of keeping her daughter private and safe from the media. 

But she finally won Scarlett over saying she was happy to see Mama do her thing and cried. 

Finally. Scarlett gave her the strength to leave Thomas Starr. She didn't imply what happened but she said I had to leave so both of us were safe.

I think some of the songs on her solo album The Sea particularly Burn, Weak, Stupid game and Enemy might be her way of telling that it's over but she doesn't know how to get out. 

And on a positive note. It took her 20 years. But she is now proud to be A spice girl and is proud of what they achieved.

There is a rift between Victoria and Mel B that is causing the girls to not bring it all together.  Now, Geri and Mel B seem to have a little awkwardness.  Ugh.  This past weekend Victoria, Emma and Geri were together.  Victoria and Emma have been together a lot recently.  I wish Victoria, Emma, Mel B and Mel C would do USA if Geri doesn't want to but Victoria and Mel B's relationship does not seem to be in a good place at all right now.

Mel B did say some things that caused the VB rift. 

 

Mel B was the reason why Geri left in 98. 

 

Both fought to be the leader. They had a huge argument. Geri stormed off and that's when it all went down.

Yes. I know The US is behind on the solo stuff. 

 

But that's the great thing about streaming. But unfortunately Emma Has one of the best solo albums. And it's not available in the US to stream.

 

It does contain Billboards top Spice Girls solo song of all Time. The fan favorite Maybe. Oddly her album Free Me predated the Amy Winehouse,  Duffy and other British acts using a classic motown soul sound by two years.
