I had really high hopes for Head Above Water, and while there are some gems on the record, the album as a whole fell flat for me.

Songs like this should have been included. The new tune to hit the Internet unexpectedly is titled "Bright," a gorgeous power ballad that shows off Avril's sincere vulnerability. I fell in love with it after just one listen.

She sounds really good. That falsetto was gorgeous.  The chorus, however... Kinda dull, ngl. Glad she scrapped it.

I really miss her don’t give a **** attitude and messing around spirit. She became deadly serious in head above water era, welcome to her dark side, I mean it is beautiful but kinda boring at the same time. Hope she going back to her roots.
