Rita Ora just released a music video for "How To Be Lonely."

I've always had a soft spot for her because I had the opportunity to interview her in-person twice. She works hard and is very talented. A lot of her music is pretty under-appreciated. Her new tune... I'm not convinced is her best release to-date. 

It's a solid song and the video is a serve! Tons of bizarre looks in the visual. Her rolling around in the eggs made me a bit uncomfortable lol.

I like the clip, it sounds a little Disney with those backgrounds which I like and there’s also a little asmr sounds like PCD did with react, which I also like.

I don't like mid tempo Rita Ora. I live for Your Song and Anywhere.

Also, I find it icky and pathetic and cringe to sing about "feeling like losing you showed me how to be lonely". 

I gravitate more towards the "i could have another you in a minute" which we need more of, honestly.

She should have stuck with the same vibe as "Let You Love Me." Now thasssssa song.

I once heard someone describe Nicole Scherzinger as a pop-diva intern that could never land a full-time gig. And since then, I keep thinking about that quote and Rita. Some solid bops mixed with reality hosting and bad management and worse promotion.

Remember when she was a guest on The Voice (somewhere overseas) and the judges thought she was a contestant? And not necessarily a good one? 🤦‍♂️

I know Lewis capaldi said he couldn’t sing this very well but I’d like to hear his version in full, his clip sounded good. Rita’s version is ok but I think it lacks the grit his voice has to carry this song.
