popprison
If I'm Dancing - if they added a bit more thump to it and released it with an amazing video Man on the Moon - Fixed whatever is missing production or composition wise (I can't put my finger on it) and you have a pop gem. Alien - if it was fixed production wise and Brit sang it all..video would be something trippy + space-dreamy. Delete Perfume + Pretty Girls. How I Roll - classic bloodshy & avant + britney chemistry. With a Joseph Kahn directed video. Unusual You - mature and a simply unique ballad track off a mainly basic album. Freakshow + Toy Soldier - both ahead of their time..short but lit and could have had hot videos too. Breathe On Me - don't even know why this wasn't released on so many levels. Cinderella + What it's Like to be Me - I remember this type of pop music became uncool during this era of hers, but still. They should have been confident and released them. Plus that's when they put so much effort in her videos! What U See (Is Wut U Get) - oopsney was unstoppable. Love that album. Link to comment
ILikeChillinWithYou
I'll go by listing one from each album- 1. I Will Be There No shade to FTBOMBH, but this song was really Poppy and radio worthy. 2. Where Are You Now Should have glorified her vocal talents (What U See too but u already picked it) 3. What's It Like To Be Me - given the hype around JustNey that time, would have done well I think I Run Away is amazing too. 4. Breathe On Me / Touch Of My Hand I mean, do I really have to explain? 5. Hot As Ice it has that amazing beat and fun attitude. Radar should not have been a single from either album imo. 6. Out From Under The ballad single we all deserved paired with Unusual You but u already listed it. 7. Inside Out I love Criminal very much but imagine the radio friendly Inside Out becoming the 4th top 10 single of FF. 8. Alien / It Should Be Easy / Til It's Gone I actually have no clue on what to pick but I guess ISBE would have done well picking off where Scream and Shout left off. 9. Do You Wanna Come Over no hate to Make Me, I love it but nothing on that album deserved lead single treatment other than this gem. Link to comment
babyimmafreak90
Breathe on me is probably the biggest missed opportunity for a really timeless hit. Yes and yes to toy soldier/freakshow. Such absolute bops Unusual you deserved the single treatment. It’s a treasure. Amnesia is another missed opportunity. Inside out is a total banger. Perfectly in line with the singles already released, could have had a bangin’ MV. I can take or leave Criminal. Zero missed opportunities on Buckley Jenanigans. There is some decent material in there but not missed singles opportunities. I agree with DYWCO, but Love Me Down is also a classic Britney bop. Super radio friendly, short with hooks for days. Paired with a classic Britney MV, this was guaranteed hit. The gp loves a basic bop. Link to comment
Exhale+ MissSpearsSaysSo Posted October 19, 2019 Exhale+ Share Posted October 19, 2019 I Will Be There, Soda Pop Can’t Make You Love Me Cinderella, What It’s Like To Be Me Breathe On Me Hot As Ice Unusual You, Shattered Glass Trouble For Me It Should Be Easy (needs a lot of work but it’s basic and the GP love that.) DYWCO? Link to comment
IfUSeekRadar
Inside Out literally obliterated me when I listened to FF for the first time. I'll go with that. Better could have also been embraced by pop radio because of its fresh summery tropical pop production. Link to comment
Deactivated none Posted October 19, 2019 Deactivated Share Posted October 19, 2019 There's too many to think of one BOMT: I Will Be There Deep In My Heart (Europe only) OIDIA: What U See Is What U Get Can't Make You Love Me (screams single material) One Kiss From You Britney: Lonely I Run Away What It's Like To Be Me Cinderella Bombastic Love ITZ: Breathe On Me Touch Of My Hand Don't Hang Up Shadow The Hook Up BO: Get Naked Ooh Ooh Baby Freakshow Perfect Lover Circus: Unusual You Shattered Glass (if complete) Mannequin (if there was an english version) Kill The Light (if remixed) FF: How I Roll He About To Lose Me Drop Dead Beautiful Trip To Your Heart Up N Down Trouble For Me BJ (if done well): Alien Passenger Now That I Found You Hold On Tight Til It's Gone Glory: Do You Wanna Come Over Man On The Moon Just Luv Me (if remixed) Love Me Down Change Your Mind Liar Link to comment
ralphcornio
Considering you can't really work that many singles from the same album, I will only talk about Glory and Britney Jean, which had only 2 singles each. I think each one could have had additional three: Britney Jean Alien (MUCH better than Perfume to be honest, could have a great music video, this was truly a missed oportunity) It Should Be Easy (Ultra basic but it's truly a gem, despite y'all hating on the album lmao) Passenger (I think some rework should be done to it before, however. Better production to fit radio) Glory Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes) : it still baffles me as to why it wasn't released as a single. Specially considering it was the sound of the moment at the time, I truly believe this could have be a big hit, specially if it came out as a ft. with some high profile male singer Just Like Me: Great song and great potential for an interesting MV Love Me Down: Ultra Radio Friendly I also think Clumsy would do great, but I can't really justify it. I just love the song! Link to comment
DownAndUp
1. I Will Be There 2. Where Are You Now (although feel like this era’s singles they got perfect) 3. Bombtastic Love (even though Brit refused to release as a single) 4. Breathe On Me 5. Toy Soldier 6. Unusual You 7. He’s About To Lose Me 8. Alien / Passenger 9. Love Me Down Link to comment

Alex_1991
I will be there (would have worked at that time) What you see (same) Before the goodbye (right after slave) Breathe On Me (obviously) And then We Kiss (one of her best songs, the remix version with little less production and vocal effects would have been huge) Get Naked (shorten the danja part and you have a hit) Unusual You (with clear vocals) How I Roll None from Britney Jean because even the less tragic tracks like Passenger are plagued with horrible production and Myah vocals Change your mind I don't know if all these songs would have been hit, but they're my picks Link to comment
