Remember in this iconic clip when she went shopping, you can see her doing a lot of the similar moves that she does today on her insta and even styles her messy hair in the same way.  It just looks odd on Insta because it's from a potato quality phone from herself instead of an HD camera like this documentary (P.S. she's so freakin' hilarious and cute):

I feel like her taste in fashion was better back then, too. Even throughout the midst of her breakdown, she had some great pieces in her wardrobe - and she pulled it all off, even with the messy tracks.

I dont see how goofily doing funny poses in front of a mirror is the same as intensly staring at yourself in the mirror while swaing your hips back and forth for 10 seconds. She looks like she is trying ot be **** not goofy in her new IGs.

Brett was hired to be a mood killer. Britney was just held under the C-ship and was considered a "heavy party girl" . Brett was basically there to clean up and tidy up Britney's looks and actions and restrict her. And it worked. 

Always found her annoying.

It's pretty much the same because anyone would do that when they are looking at themselves in a phone vs. being with other people and someone else recording you.  If you looked at videos/photos of yourself with a phone vs. someone taking your video/photo... it's significantly different because of the aperture on the phone vs camera lens has very different looks. Most people look better with the latter.

This scene was the best part in For The Record. One of the only lighthearted moments in a pretty sad documentary. Even after all that’s happened to her, Britney is still true to herself. The woman loves a good fashion show! Let her post them if she wants... and if you don’t like it then don’t watch.
