Because Britney seems to showcase her voice when she’s called out by media. And she’s always had a bone to pick with the paparazzi. Could you imagine her instagram full of videos of her singing unedited (without the chipmunk filter)? A boi can dream can’t he?

when she did release an "unedited" version of her singing i think it was her around xmas time in a black dress and a bun singing elvis, the video was sped up so her gorgeous deep vocals became terrible chipmunk vocals bc for some reason her team still thinks shes still this top teen bubble gum pop star who has loads of tween fans and needs to keep up this girly image which is annoying to say the least.

idk if we would hear her true vocals through insta tho but u never know

I saw those videos and the ones where fans sped it down but are we sure she really sounds that way? Maybe some fans were being more generous with the editing but it sounds legit I just wish all the foolery would stop with the filters. And that’s what we want the most. Lol

That cover was horrible, both the real and edited versions....

i dont want her to try to do stuff to impress, just sing you know? I think for all the acrobatics, she needs loooooots of training after such horrible technique. I am just learning How to sing, and have had such bad habits that the difference becomes very clear after a while. She has lots of potential, the one she never got to develop cuz label is shitty

Sorry but I really dont get this thread cuz Britney does sing live. Sure she has a little playback because she dances so hard but she always sings live. People forget shes been singing and dancing since she was like 2, so thats why it seems so effortless for her.

I think what we need to realize is that Britney is a mother, and she has a lot of time that she needs to be spending with her children. She doesn't have a lot of time to go online and read about herself, in fact I doubt she is even allowed. It doesn't matter what the paparazzi say, if Loucifer doesn't want her to see it, she will not see it.That's why they planned her to be #skinnyasaneedle , they need her to be only aware of what they WANT her to be aware of... Plus, they would never let her sing like herself in an instagram video. Britney might think she is actually singing live in her shows, since it's so loud where she is onstage, she might not have full awareness. Therefore, if she sings live in an instagram video that more fans will comment on (talking about how she sounds a little different in real life than onstage), her team might have to work overtime to delete extra comments (Britney might not still be allowed on the Internet, but they have to watch out for her sister Jamie Lynn and maybe her mom tipping her off).

I just read a billboard article that YouTube teaming up with I don't remember who or what to remaster 1000 videos, featuring Bad Romance, but they didn't mention Britney in the list of other artists

In what universe? It’s ok as fans to always leave shitty comments about how she looks (makeup, hair, weight...you name it) but this is her craft we’re talking about. If she weighed so much she was given a “My 600 Pound Life” spin-off I wouldn’t care. But hearing her heavenly voice would be worth the criticism.
