I think it was evident in FTR that she wasn’t as close with her dad as what was being painted out to be at the time. The whole “he saved her life” bullshit was in full tuition at that point. You can tell from her body language she is wary of him I think. She also makes a comment about him being such an ******* then being so nice. It’s not the typical conversation you’d have about your dad even if it was a joke. Just a lot of underlying problems there but that’s hardly surprising given what Lynne describes in her book about him being a drunk.

It’s ridiculous - if they have ‘always been strained’ then why does he think he should be the one to manage her finances and her life? Why is he so involved in the money side of things. If that doesn’t scream out free loader I don’t know what does. He’s a horrible man and an *** of a father for putting one of his children through all of this. I hope his *** gets hit by karma and Britney is freed from all of this. But I doubt they’d ever speak again.

It is horrifying, especially when you consider the fact that he's a failed business owner running a global business.
