Well this is out of control weird I think. 

Think of how much money they're spending in this PR nightmare!  It would've been so easy to just craft a (supposedly honest) statement in late Dec/early Jan telling us that  - after her world tour Brit is suffering from "exhaustion"  feeling shaky,  and wants to go to a facility to tweak her meds, thus Domination is postponed/cancelled/whatever.   Then maybe throw in she's taking a long vacation afterwards to get some R & R, and buy more time.  It worked for Catherine Zeta Jones, not a blip in her career really.
