Keri Hilson said she was passionate about recording Blackout. ***** ditches court hearings but shows up for all the recording sessions even if it was only 2 hours but she was there even when she was pregnant. Hilson said she was dedicated and focused. She could’ve been the opposite.

I think she definitely treated Blackout as an escape hence why the music was very club like and barely personal.

This makes me happy, I didn’t know Keri said this. She was always nice to our girl.

She also said that Britney was too lazy to record background vocals and said its because Keri sounded like Britney anyway... :selenerz:

Like I said, she could’ve just let them hanging but she showed up.

i think she cared during her first womanizer performance in 2008. she still had that old britney attitude in her eyes and you could tell she cared what the audience thought at the end

Definitely!!! Here she was literally performing to save her life!!! Gorgeous!!!
The fist part of circusney was very passionate.. than, probably, she understood that some good performances would not give back her life so she slowly turned depressed and bored.

So her doing the bare minimum aka showing up... is her being passionate? :watrusayin:

So what’s your definition of passion then? Writing credits? She recorded the album over a few years, if she didn’t care for it then she wouldn’t even show up. There’s video of her blasting the demo version of Hot as ice from her car, the circus tour was basically the Blackout tour.

If that’s the case she could’ve gave FF & BJ teas, but instead she have us sass, swag, rhythm, and all the other things we loved about her it just was tame

You just have to look at the dancing. Production-wise, Circus was, to this date, her biggest tour. Involvement wise... look again at her dancing, oh, sorry, there's NONE. The Circus tour gave us the most underwhelming performances of Britney Spears, period. Do you really think Britney was passionate and taking her career seriously after being placed in a psychiatric hold, losing the custody of her children and being ordered to be under a conservatorship in less than year? Do you think Britney herself was willing to be back on the studio six months after a visit to a mental facility to write and record her next #1 album? Do you think that on top of all that Britney was thinking about embarking in her most ambitious tour to date? PLEASE. Don't be blind, the Circus album and tour was meant to keep the momentum Britney had. Britney's always been the cash cow for the label and they were not letting that change; she was forced into the studio for that reason.

Talking about FF... news flash, Britney had another crisis in 2010 and she was heavily medicated as a result, there's no comparison point. Even then in FF she danced better that in Circus, because, of course, in Circus she just walked around the stage. And Britney Jean... haven't you seen the documentary. Girl, if you really knew what you talking about you'd KNOW that era was about the residency and the album was never on her priorities' list.

Why do you think Britney is so unpassionate about her career and work nowadays? Why do you think there's very little involvement in the process? Why do you think she doesn't give her best? Her team, the label and I dare to say even her family let her down by putting her career before her well-being. She learned the hard way that she had no say, no voice and that all decisions were taken for her so she doesn't even try anymore. She gave up. What we see is the result of disappointment and despair.

I can't believe I have to explain this :nyheadache:

:begone: I don’t care what happened prior to the circus era (breakdown) but for the most part of the circus era it was passion. I’ll say it once again dancing do not equal a great performance we know by her latest performance. Passion does & no matter what she was going through during circus she still had her Britney spunk if that make sense

I mean if I am passionate about my project I would show up on time + stay as long as needed and be involved as much as possible, want the best possible music videos and performances and promo. I think she liked the songs but she basically got all of them handed to her and just sang the vocals. Liking the album for me isnt the same as being passionate about it. I mean in the radio interview she sounded like she couldnt care less.

By looking at when you joined you must be a new fan & going by what you heard about the circus era, I been a fan since her debut. At the end of the circus tour she was definitely ready to slay the next era,  what happened after the tour (no one knows) change the course of her skills(sass, swag, attitude, and staying in character the whole performance)  forever she hasn’t been the same since

Some may agree and some other may disagree but I feel like working with new and people she never worked before was not only a sign that she wanted to keep her job fresh but also ahe was having fun by adding her career new things

The Outsyders in 2008

Jamie King for the Circus and FFT

Jonas Akerlund, Ray Kay and Chris Mars as the music video directors for the FF era and Ben Mor as the S&S and WB director

The Square Division as the official choreographers for the Vegas Residency

She could have rely on her old school team (which sometimes I f**king wish) but that's and indicative she has a little (at least) interest in doing her job. The fact she delivers only her 50% of what she's capable of, is another story :nyschool:

Try with arguments instead of bringing up the date people signed up here to try to discredit others  :mcwave:

Or she knew her old team was not going to take halfass work from her, I’m talking mostly about the choreographers
