Britney very involved in the play

They bounced ideas around for 3 years

Oh God, she's not involved at all. Doing readings doesn't mean she's involved with the project at all, it's her music so of course she needs to approve it :orangu:

Cher was involved with her musical because she's producing it so she even attended rehearsals :whatitellu:

Britney won't do a single thing here, this will be a "thankful letter" for her contribution to the music industry, we ALL should be proud of this tbh :begone:

You guys are soooooo hateful, you are already saying that it's flopping when nothing was seen and the announcement was made 24 hours ago, but you are not seeing that some big guys in the musical theatres industry are believing in Britney's name and catalog, and believe that her songs and fame might help the show to be a hit and to be really successful, are you even Britney's stans to think so negatively about your fave?

I've said critical things about how her/her team have handled things since Circus, but I don't have any criticism about this at all.

She easily has the large catalog for this show to be a hit; the question would be how good the storytelling is.

Britney cancels her Vegas show. Janet picks up the dates.

Michael's new musical is scrapped due to Leaving Neverland. Britney picks up the dates for her own musical (which has mysteriously been planned for 3 years).

Any chance Britney's team got word ahead of time, of the Neverland documentary, knew the dates were going to become available for MJ's scrapped musical, and negotiated some kind of deal to unload their low selling Domination dates to Janet in exchange for MJ's musical dates..?

It's all just a little too coincidental, don'tcha think?

I thought this was going to be in Broadway....:decisions:

Also thought you guys were joking about it being based on fairytales :decisions:

Like many musicals it doesnt instantly start on Broadway.

They first have to see if its successful and if it is, it'll be moved to Broadway ;)

A brand new show never begins on Broadway. They will test it out in a city for a little while, in this case it’s Chicago and if it’s successful then it moves to Broadway. That’s how Hamilton got so popular and getting tickets became impossible to get.

Ya'll so far Britney has been getting tons of big, free promo, which is probably why her streams have been rising quite a bit lately.

Miley keeps on referencing Britney

She was featured in the Leaving Neverland film

She is getting a Broadway musical (imagine many people listening to her again after watching it)

It's her debut album's 20th anniversary

etc.

This year would be perfect to release music, because shes already in people's heads!

IMO it's a complete coincidence; I don't see any direct correlation. Britney won't personally be in the Broadway show. If anything, it would have helped promote the musical with her performing in Vegas while it was going on. :janet:

Read the press release

It says that they worked closely for 3 years to develop, as they say, a concept that encapsulates her unique spirit.
