She’s kinda already done that with “the hook up” tho, and what I love about it is that it wasn’t so mainstream back then. 

I’d rather hear something new, fresh, not the same thing that everybody is doing.

So, this thread shows that it might be a bad idea. Reggaeton lovers don't care about Britney, and Britney fans don't care about reggaeton. It might be a failed attempt to get a hit, and she would seem super desperate if she released something so out of her element. 

She needs to release some good pop music (and please change the f**king sound of current pop, because I'm very tired of it).
