Can you imagine how great this would have been?? Using all of the footage they have recorded and never released in the last 20 years??  Or even footage of her as a kid that we havent seen before??

They’re probably afraid to bring attention to the anniversary in fear it will scare younger fans away. Even though children and teens haven’t been her audience since 2004.

1998 she was so fresh and hungry for it - 2019 she literally doesn’t give a **** and would rather hide in the far far far away hills of Hollywood

It’s sad we got really nothing more then a bundle set and a social media post for her big anniversary   

Now we know we won’t get anything in the future when it comes to her anniversary’s. 

Would of been nice to get at least a new song even a small ep. This Britney drought is horrible there’s nothing to look forward at all and it’s sad

I disagree.  She was definitely still pretty popular with teens from 2008-12, considering how successful the Circus & Femme Fatale eras and 'Scream & Shout' were.  That age group is a huge part of the Top 40 and music-consuming audiences, and their support in those years (plus their parents' money) helped Britney have several hit singles on pop radio & the Hot 100 (including three solo #1's on the latter), sell tons of albums, and go on two world tours.  2013 - for obvious reasons - was when she really started losing younger fans and became a "legacy" act.

You’re right. She did regain a random surge of younger fans in 07 from her media coverage and her music. But her fan base was still mostly more mature.
