Seriously, Britney must have been terrible to have to cancel (postponed) the residency. Even if is her father illness or whatever another reason, she just doesnt want to keep her family away, and we should accept that. it will be better for her, it will be better for us. Also I think this decision practically was made today because just yesterday Nappytabs posted about going back to rehearsals and pre-production! I know they are returning the money but she just said "she won't perform this year" but she never said it was canceled. You can't cancel a big contract just like that, Im confused However, Jamie saved Britney's life in 2008 so now I hope he's ok and no matter how big her contract is I guess she's rich enough to cancel such an important contract to focus on her family as most of us would do. 1 Link to comment

I'm sure that if everything goes well and his father recovers, Domination will return and the project will try to keep going. I didn’t want her to do the residency anyway but I kno how close she is to her parents and she does need to take care of that first. Britney's sister was posting about this all the time on her Insta so it's nothing new. She's on indefinite hiatus, meaning she's not ok. Of course she would not only postpone but cancel the residency considering she's not able to rehearse right now and doesnt know when she will be able to.
