To celebrate Billboard's Hot 100 chart turning 60, Billboard listed out the top 60 based on chart performance. So many legends. Thoughts?

The Top 60 Female Artists of All-Time on the Billboard Hot 100 ranking is based on weekly performance on the Hot 100 from its Aug. 4, 1958, inception through July 21, 2018. All songs are ranked based on an inverse point system, with cumulative weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at lower spots earning the least. Due to changes in chart methodology over the years, eras are weighted differently to account for chart turnover rates over various periods. Artists are then ranked based on a formula blending performance, as outlined above, of all their Hot 100 chart entries.

This is just base off hot 100 it’s impressive Britney is up that high considering she’s not a big player on the hot 100 her singles usually hit big the first week & sizzle afterwards. She only really had longevity with femme fatale & believe it or not “make me” had longevity it didn’t chart top 10 but it stayed in the top 40 for awhile

Then, it's not relevant. They have to make a list based on relevance through the years, iconic moments, popularity, charts, legacy, influence, originality and so much more. Rihanna may have more hits, but she's not as iconic as Britney.
