Lady Gaga is co-hosting the Met Gala next year and she loves Britney, so maybe she’ll get an invite. 

Oh, but to answer OP’s question: definitely not. I don’t understand why fans keep pushing this, when A) It would be career suicide, and B) Britney stated explicitly just a year or two prior that she would never WANT to do it alone because of the pressure of the task. Respect her wishes, for god’s sakes. She knows her own abilities and emotional/mental limitations far more than we do.
