Britney Blind - Domination Sales

Recommended Posts

So I recently came across this blind item that is supposedly about Britney and her new residency’s ticket sales.

Usually by now, the scary low demand ticket sales begin to rise for this permanent A list "singer." It isn't happening though. The casino will make sure not to have her look bad and will make sure every show is sold out, but they won't do it again for another run so this might be it for the residency

Thats what happens if you stop giving a **** about your career in general and do residency only, then go on tour with your sloppy washed out version of the residency show in the most hideous lingerie ever with coaled eyes and various ticks. then we haven't talked about that shitty announcement and no music in over 2 years now. shows how much she truly cares about everything. good luck to the people that do go.

It's just a weird feeling when you knew this was the inevitable given everything, but for once, it actually is going the way you thought it would rather than something saving it at the last minute. :bthink: I'm actually a little surprised even still.

I also don't know what else they expected, though. Like.....

I mean what will they do? Lower prices?

Do more promo. One can only do so much promo without the main person. I would hope that they wrote that in her contract.

They really only have two months to get it together.

They'll start doing deals, giveaways, radio contests to fill the seats along with lowering prices.

Her brand held out much longer than I thought. I’ve been saying this all the way back from the beginning of the first Vegas show. How she has been pretty successful with such poor quality since 2011 is beyond me. I think we all really gave her the benefit of the doubt because of 2007.

But like everything over time you become less empathic and they really have had so many moments to improve in every area and they don’t. Just keep charging more and more money for less and less.

The people enjoy her shows which is why the crowds keep coming

Anyone who goes to her show now is not doing the fandom any favours.  It seems they just don’t understand how money works.  By consistently paying for lacklustre, uninspired residency performances and “music” and the horrendous “meet and greets”, fans are complicit in the decline.  They should demand better before forking over the goods.  I didn’t pay for Glory or Britney Jean. I think those CDs suck. It’s not even Britney half the time and that offensive deception should be enough to make true fans outraged.  I’ll pay for a product I actually think is worth my money. I refuse to go to a residency performance because the ‘dancing’ is trash and not a single damn song is live. The Meet and Greets are a joke and anyone who pays 2 grand to stand by a bored Brit for 10 seconds is a damn fool.  So, put in the effort Team B or go home ‘cause my money ain’t paying for your greedy, lazy, mean butts anymore. :flop:

It's November and some tickets have sold as expected

More will sell leading up to the shows

Yes, with the discounts and giveaways mentioned above.

I'm not shocked, but like I said I'm sure the tickets will end up selling fine. Especially if the videos from the show look good.

I stand and by it though, they jumped back into Vegas WAY to quick. I'm not surprised by this at all

I looked at ticketmaster last week and they really aren’t doing much. The first shows have loads of tickets left. I think the first few will do fine but overall I think it will do pretty bad. We will see on boxscores. Do tickets sales count if they do giveaways does that count as money earned?

No, they (normal people) go out of nostalgia and the same reason humans visit circus sideshows: a sick, slightly twisted curiosity.  Plus many think she might croak (career wise) so they want to check mark that off their bucket list before the inevitable.

Hardcore fans go because they worship her like an infallible god.  She could burn their house down and trash their car, murder their goldfish and pee all over the ashes, and they’d still make up excuses to forgive and support her.  She could scream in their faces that she thinks they’re fat, lazy (exp) and they’d still somehow find a way to excuse her outbursts. It’s kinda funny to see this type on here, not gonna lie lol

And there will be many buying close to Showtime too
