So 2018 is nearly out and Britney has not released any new music for the past 2 years. Looking ahead to next year we know Britney will be active once again as she will perform her “Domination” Las Vegas residency which starts in February apart from that nothing else has been confirmed although it is highly likely she will release her tenth studio album, I wanted to know what us the fans are expecting and wanting realistically from Britney in 2019. Please list 5 things maximum; mine are... 

1. Release of album number 10 

2. At least 4 singles released with standout music videos 

3. At least one high profile awards show performance (Grammy’s or MTV VMA’s) 

4. A striking front cover of Rolling Stones magazine

5. A Netflix documentary (a revealing insight to her recording process, dancing, Domination show and reflection on the past 20 years; highs and lows)

I agree 100% with your list! I would only add live vocals ( AT LEAST for the ballads)

Good one. Live vocals for the ballads and at the very least pre-recorded vocals for the entire “Donination” show and other live performances.

3. New documentary about being a superstar for 20 years. Her thoughts, her memories etc..

4. Award show performance

5. Album promotion

50% live and 50% pre-recorded form the perfect package!!

None of it will happen except for maybe a new album, 2 fine singles and music videos, more than few fan meltdowns and pom part 2 performances and work ethic, a few akward promo things, photoshoot with the weirdest photoshop and wig and contour choices., scrapped stuff and bad fashion choices, yellow big fake hair and panda makeup.

What’s your wish list? 

Good ones but not much of it is realistic for Britney and her team.

I thought you said realistically 

 

Realistically I'm expecting this:

• Domination residency.
• A few more Domination dates for later in the year
• If the new generation of Pokémon games comes out next year as they promised, STATISTICALLY, at least we should be getting B10's lead single sometime between January and December. Though that tradition could always be broken.

I live in hope that Team Britney will have learned some lessons and will have realised that since her career has become stale that things need to be improved, starting with a strong album campaign.

Britney in 2016 gave us a hot photo shoot for “V” magazine, a fantastic medley performance at the Billboard Music Awards  and a strong album “Glory” then I don’t see why we can’t get more greatness next year?! 

2019 will be a true test for Britney and her career moving forward - either she will become relevant again or will just be a nostalgic act! I hope it’s the former!
