I can watch a 20 year old video that I’ve seen a thousand times but I’m still entranced by her. It’s the way she sounds and the way she moves as she stares at you through the camera. It’s hard to describe but it’s like her soul literally lives in those videos. Because we rarely see her perform so flawlessly like she did in them.

Well I think - besides the fact that Britney has been set up as a *** symbol by her label (and by herself with the BOMT video) from the beginning of her career - that everything can be made into something ******/fetishized. For example, Sometimes, Lucky, Born to Make You Happy, FTBOMBH - those are not ****** songs or ****** music videos at all, but yeah you could view them as being "**** something", but then I think it just says that you think Britney is ****, because the videos weren't sexualized at all.
