THE BEGINNING OF PRIMENEY

Well guys, here is where it all started [Britney as a performer]

We are celebrating Brit's 20-year career so it's good to remember what happened exactly 20 years ago when primeney was starting to experience the adrenaline of the stage, she was just a 17-year-old girl, FULL OF FIRE inside, with an incredible and determined PASSION for his career, she shows us that she could DANCE and SING LIVE at the same time, just spectacular, a true performer!

Once Brit was signed by Jive and in the midst of recording her debut album, it all started with a mini-tour called Hair Zone Mall Tour, it too place in multiples malls throughout United States and was designed to promote her First Single, is the beginning of a BIG ERA  (the only one where we can listen to most of the songs of the album live in different events)

This is basically the first recorded footage of brit already as a jive artist, a young britney without choreography made for her songs, sings totally live in front of some agents in Singapore.

Then "the Mall Zone Tour" started [Oct - 10 - 1998] before the baby single was released, here we can see her singing and dancing totally live, Sometimes and Crazy had other choreography, the only one that was made original was the Iconic baby one more time choreo:

...One month later she was already opening the shows to Nsync, barely a month after the release of the Baby single and the crowd was already clamoring for her  [Nov -20 -1998]

...Two months later and in the middle of releasing their debut album, the malls were already too small for the big crowd of new fans of the rising pop princess [JAN - 29 - 1999]

And here is where the Hair Zone Tour ended, as the shopping centers were too small for so many new fans, she did a mini concert on wallmart with the same setlist:

...a few months later she started her first big tour "baby one more time tour" and the rest is history... :divaney:

Has any other 17 year old been this famous this fast? For that reason, sadly I think it’s also the start of breakdown-ney. Most artists strive their entire lives and still never experience this kind of sustained super-stardom. This literally happened in a few months and continued for 6 or 7 years and in some level grew even more for a few years, but in a really bad way not connected to her artistry. Hard to even fathom.... for Taylor Swift it took over 5 years to come close to this and who knows if it will last as long.

I wonder if there are any pictures or articles that show how jam packed these mall tours were towards the end of that tour. It sounds like thousands and thousands based on the screams.

No, and that's what made/makes Britney's legacy so prolific. To this day and after 20 years, there hasn't been a solo female artist since her debut who's had the lasting impact she had.  She exploded on the scene and suddenly it became this Brtney phenomena, overnight.  You can say it was a blessing, but also a curse.  Regardless, there will never be another. :)
