She's put a match to her dying career. She doesn't care but what makes the whole idea of Britney's career so funny is that she expects others to care and fork out their hard earned money to watch her flick her hair back and forth and lip her way through an entire show. It's pathetic.

Everyone in this world works for their money and her performing 3 times a week for a couple of hours shouldn't be as horrible as everyone is making it out to be. It ain't that deep

Don't you think her team has done the research? (As far as making money)  The whole point of her being paid is not even really her fans coming there.

She fills up the venue; it's as simple as that.

Btw I would like to know this, how did Lady Gaga announce her residency? I don't remember her doing anything spectacular for it, not even like 2013ney did with her giant name and tons of showgirls and stuff.

Why are some of you saying that Britney's being reductive because Glaad will have an event earlier that day. Britney's announcement will be broadcasted on Ellen, it will be huge :juggingu:

I wonder if non britney fans who saw the Vegas show thought she was rubbish? Or whether im just over reacting cos I expect her to be the best performer that I know she can be!

honestly I think that most of the gp don't take her seriously as a performer and just went to concert for fun. for them she is a nostalgic act from the 90s and 2000 years. I bet that most of them don't even know how great she was as performer , so they don't compare as much as we do, they just know her for lipsyncing and fun songs. perhaps non fans enjoy the show more than fans

What else did you expect? :wyd:

Gp don't go to concerts for new songs, they just want the greatest hits even more if it's a residency.

'On top of that she will be promoting the casino and doing club appearances for the company, which on top of the PR value of her name globally is pretty strong.'

What are "club appearances" ? :idkney:

It's understood that Britney had a 12 month non-compete deal with Caesars, which means she can technically start her new show on January 1, 2019.

'But realistically the show won't likely start until the Spring,' the source said.

so what is the truth? @breatheheavy

I hope she realizes what she needs to bring to the table, and her team stops f**king it up.. Cause it is doable and done right with tweaks and good production and good dancing and good outfits and good hair and good makeup.. And just all around it's only an hour and a half out of her day, where she doesn't need to do the hair touching all the time etc. There is a way to do that like she did in the past, which looked good, and the last couple years where the **** don't look right, it's too much and not in a good way. :checkit:

... you know she doesn’t want to perform. You know she will walk her way through it with about as much passion as a person doing their taxes. You know she’s being forced to do it.  You know her career has destroyed her mentally and so she had to beg Sam, her contracted boyfriend/coach for marriage and kids to satisfy her most miserably small dream for a family.. you know essentially this is legally sanctioned slavery... but folks still want to go? Damn. Circuses never die, eh? No matter how many unethical, the show will go on.
