I dont mind them at all. Im sure Britneys lazyness makes their Life very difficult. The same people managed primeney. They know how to manage.

Yeah but there's other things they can do despite Britney being lazy. They definitely think they can just cash in on her name alone, which hasn't been working for a few years now.

and why do you think they think that?? Maybe because they have given up on trying to get her to put in the work that she needs to, to be relevant again. They have nothing to gain from her becoming a nostalgia act, Believe me if it was up to them she would be 2001ney all over again.

That’s the thing, that’s all they know how to do and only thing they want is 2001ney which won’t happen but they refused to believe so and Britney wants to grow and change but they still want her to be a pristine 90’s popstar.

You should know that Larry loves chasing trends and the 90s is in so they are milking it as much as they can.

you dont know what they want or what Brintney wants. If you want to blame someone for the direction she has gone musically, blame RCA. they are the ones who have final say in what gets released not her team.

Because that's literally all they do...

There are other artists that have stepped back from the spotlight but their team comes up with a good promo plan and promotes the crap out of them anyway. Britney's team can't even consistently promote her work on social media which is one of the major markets these days. They're still very much stuck in the 90s.

I agree to a point. A lot of what they do is so old school but maybe that is the point. Britney is a nostalgic act.

The ppl that use social media well are the ones that put In work when it’s needed though. Her label is not gonna pay for major social media ads for Britney if they don’t see a good outcome.

Britney has damaged her current brand so much. I really don’t see it ever changing. They will do Vegas until they see a major decline (which I see happening sooner than later) than they will announce a retirement tour to help sell tickets. That will be it imo

I don't think they are the problem, but they are part of it for sure. They have accepted that Britney should only spend a very limited time in the studio. They have accepted that Britney does not rehearse as long as she should. They have accepted album version backing vocals with no effort to record tour versions. They have accepted M&Gs just as they are. They also knew how to negotiate major deals for tours, the Xfactor, POM, Pepsi..... So basically they have a product (thats Britney), and they are milking it for all its worth, without any major improvements. So if the Problem is Britney, then more than anyone or anything, they need to step up and motivate her and get her in proper shape. I'm sure they tried, and they don't wana risk losing their jobs (as Larry did in the past), but I just keep thinking they can do more, including in marketing and merchandise depts too.

I don't have much feeling towards them in either way. The difference was in her peak, Britney was probably extremely easy to manage. Sure she was outspoken, occasionally controversial, but with amazing work ethic and marketability. That was the early 2000's, though. The industry has changed, media consumption has changed.. basically the entire landscape for recording artists has shifted since then. I still think both she and her team are stuck in that transition. If you look at what she's doing now, it's beyond dated. There's nothing in her current show that's forward thinking, or even contemporary. There are some great people in her management, I'm sure, but some fresh blood wouldn't do her any harm. She's too comfortable, and so are they. The result of that is basically everything we've had since 2009. Occasionally surprising, generally underwhelming.

I think a big part is britney and her “laziness” but there are so many factors.

im sure Britney’s name alone is enough to book her shows and appearances but Britney isn’t comfortable.

her move to RCA might be another factor. They aren’t giving her a big promo budget.

her creative team. Britney’s anxiety might limit her to the kind of people she should be around. Hence randee, a crap glam squad, bad choreographers. It’s usually the insane ones that come up with the best ideas and her team keeps her away from them.

And as someone said above johnny wright, wade Robson, and Brian Friedman.  They had the creativity.

It's true that its the same team that managed her during her prime, but like Alexa said, the landscape has changed so much since then. They are having trouble keeping up with the times, because its the same issue with all the artists they represent, regardless of work ethic. Here's the thing... even if Britney was the laziest being on the planet, her team are in charge of her public image to a big extent... hence why there are publicists. To me, it appears as though he or she just secures interviews as needed and controls the questions, while hoping that Britney appears normal that day. It has to take more than that, the publicist should keep up with the headlines, sell positive stories, and create the public persona and image as needed. Regardless of the product, the packaging is still very very important. And Britney ain't that bad of a product!

Look at it this way - they are the ones that oversexualized her in her early adulthood, they are the ones that wanted her to use the topic of viginity to get publicity, they are the ones that pitch her voice to unrealistic standards thus making it impossible for her to sing her own songs live.... they created part of the storm that caused Britney to lose her selfesteem.  They overworked her.  For all the good they did, they did just as much bad.  Not to mention that Larry set up the whole Britney/Paris friendship that backfired and caused her to be seen as an unfit mom.
