This was her first live performance since the 07 vma’s the crowd was lame but I loved this performance  under-rated performance imo.

it was not her first performance after the vmas, but I did loves performance it was her first time back on stage promoting her music since the vmas

I think the Bambis were a good choice tbh. Its a very "classy" and quiet event (thats why there was a short pause after the music finished and the applause started) and not many of her US peers were there so a lot less pressure. Also it wasnt televised or streemed around the world. Sure everyone could look it up online the next day but Its still a bit less stressfull. + she was getting an award. 

Its more like a movie award ceremony tbh. Everyone sitting and drinking.

wheras most US shows have a big audience and screaming fans and a lot of the biggest names in the music industry sitting front row.

Well it is a German award show so maybe they are being nice when they're silent and humble when she performs

I do kind of think a show with fans in the audience would have been better tho. If this was an amercian or British award show can you imagine the cheers when the fire came and Brintey walked on stage?? It would have been insane. Anyway all of the celebrities that were there said that Brintey was their highlight and that they loved it so the silence wasnt to shade her... its just the was it is. You watch quietly and then applaude.
