Britney was seen holding a book and the writer has been trying to contact her since. Here's what happened:

So I found this because of @falka who posted the link in a different thread, and I found it so damn interesting.

It's kinda like a radio show where they solve mysteries.

Case 2nd was Britney.

Let me tell you what's going on.

March 18, 2008.

Britney goes out for lunch with her parents. While she's leaving, she is seen holding the book "To Feel Stuff" by Andrea Seigel.

Andrea sees the pictures and loses her **** because her book didn't do well and no one knew about it. :lostney:

Since then, Andrea's goal becomes to get to talk to Britney. She wants to ask her if she liked it, and if she didn't she's open to hear Britney's criticism.

As years go by, Andrea becomes a big Britney fan but how Britney found such an unknown book written by her is a mystery to her.

She decides to contact that radio "show" to ask them to get to the core of this.

For those of you who are too lazy to actually give this a listen, I'm gonna write down the highlights for you.

If you're planning on listening to it, please don't read what I'll write next cause it will contain all the info.

 

 

So, Andrea contacts the show. She tells them what I already said above, and she also says Britney is so interesting to her.

She loves how happy Britney looks next to Justin with the denim outfits and knowing that "she cheated" and ruined that and she's never been the same since, is so interesting to her, that Britney changed a lot.

Justin, she'd want nothing to do with, but Britney, she'd do anything to have a chat with her.

She jokes saying that she'll do anything for the person who finds out if Britney likes the book, literaly anything and she's sure her boyfriend would understand :giggleney:

When the host tells her she was probably just holding the book cause it doesn't make sense taking it with you to lunch, Andrea says that back then she thinks Britney's relationship with her parents was pretty bad and she thinks Britney was just reading during lunch avoiding her parents trying to interact with her, and she likes to think that she helped get Britney's mind off things back then. :giggleney: She also says Britney's dad is now her conservator.

The host decides to look into it. First step. Is Andrea's book really that unknown and hard to find? She calls big bookstores, but no one seems to have it, no one has ever heard of it.

The host decides to find a way to get to talk to Britney. She says you'd be surprised at how many people have some sort of a connection to Britney Spears, she got texts like "*britney's phone number* you didn't get this from me!!!" but nothing seemed to work.

The host understands she's impossible to talk to. :britdrown:

So she decided to meet Britney the old fashioned way. Somewhere outside "randomly". Thanks to the countless paparazzi photos, she knows just the place. The Oaks mall, in Thousand Oaks, California.

She goes there, and start asking employees and people if they've ever seen Britney.

"Poor girl..." says the Starbucks guy. "She can't even leave the house without being mobbed." The last time he saw her, he wasn't even able to see her. He just saw the crowd of people around her. :nervousney:

"She loves the attention," says the Cheesecake Factory waitress. "It was just so obvious. For example, one time Britney received a call in her cell and walked outside to take it. Why would she do that if she didn't want her photos taken?" :blurp:

"She's so nice and tanned" says another employee with a clothes store. They have a romper with a B on it. It was B for Britney. Britney tried it on one time. It was on her actual body.

They also had a blue crop top. Britney bought one of them. She liked it so much she wanted to wear it outside. They told her they had to remove the security tag, and she just went closer to the employee so they could remove it off her while she has the top on. :dorkney:

The host ends up buying both the romper and the top. Then she understands that her being there trying to find Britney, just made her another stalker and part of the reason why Britney wouldn't leave her house. She leaves, trying to think of a different way to get in touch with her. :embarrassney:

She then wonders, has Britney been photographed with any other books? She asks a former Britney fan she knows and she finds some. She informs Andrea that she's only seen holding books, they're never in her bag. Andrea says that now that she knows she always holds them, she feels more like she read it, cause it's not like someone handed it to her that one time, it's a thing she often does. :brityes:

The host has another idea. A Meet&Greet with Britney in Vegas. She buys one.

She can't seem to find info about her M&G anywhere, and she needs to know how long will she have with Britney. Does she get to ask the question she has about Andrea's book? Did Britney like it?

She calls ticketmaster. She asks the employee if she gets to ask Britney a question. They don't really know, but they tell her that they hope she gets to ask more than one question for that amount of money. :selenerz:

The day comes. The host calls a cab to get to PH on time.

The driver had Britney on his cab 12 years ago, when "she was just a kid".

He tells her she was just a sweetheart. Very respectful, enthusiastic, still like a kid, not a diva at all, very very nice, even kept asking how he is.

The backstage tour starts. The host realises she practically spent 2500$ to get a M&G with Felicia.

Felicia ends with the tour, and the host just has to ask. "Do we get to talk to her?"

Fe says there won't be enough time, but if you have something to say, she thinks you should definitely do it. :saycheese:

They're in line. The host walks in, Britney is just facing the camera ready for her picture.

The host says "Hi Britney, I'm Starley!" (we also finally learn her name)

Britney smiles. Starley continues "Look, I just have to ask you."

Britney keeps turning to the camera to get the photo taken.

Starley doesn't stop. "My friend wrote this book called To Feel Stuff. You had a picture taken with it back in 2008. Do you remember this book?"

Britney looks at her, obviously thinking very hard and she finally says "I think it does ring a bell."

Starley tells her what the book is about.

Britney says "Yes! Yes, I remember it!" :wontcry:

Starley asks her how did she hear about it.

Britney says her assistant gave it to her.

Starley asks, "Did you like it?"

Britney just says "Yes."

Then, as they both turn to the camera to have their picture taken, Britney says "I loved it!!" :pumped:

Starley tells Andrea everything.

Andrea asking if she thinks it was genuine.

Starley says she truly does cause she wasn't talkative with anyone else that night.

Andrea says this makes her love Britney so much, and then she sees tje picture of Britney and Starley and she starts crying, revealing that she has an issue that if she laughs a lot she starts crying, but they're not tears of happiness, she actually feels deppressed when she cries of laughter :overwhelm:

She calls the picture amazing.

 

This is the date Starley met Britney.

Great book! This book was recommended to me by my friend Britney. I was hooked from the very beginning. I highly recommend this book!

As a writer, I get it. I mean, you find out your book that flopped hard was actually read by someone-- and to top it off, it's one of the most famous people in the world? Yeah, I'd also have to ask them what they thought about it, because I'm sure Andrea's trying to figure out where she went wrong in her work. Or if her advice is even valuable at all if no one seemed to notice it. And since it caused her to look into Britney a little deeper and become a fan, its also finding out what your demographic might be, and the type of people who were attracted to your work.

I do find it unfair the host got to see her instead of the writer though.
