Also, why do so many people go to her show if they r not even fans? I had a couple next to me they barely knew any songs from start to finish lol. And those seats were £200 each, lool why bother.

With the playback situation I dont know why people go to a britney concert and leave complaining about lipsyincing. Like they didnt know from the start lol she's done since ever

I’m just happy she was energetic today cause otherwise I could not justify lip syncing... :lowkeyno: But I found it weird as well! People around me where almost sleeping, I felt like I was the only fan on my row..:pieceofwhat:  I mean they were more excited to see Pitbull.. Anyway, I got the vibe that most people who went (at least in my block) weren’t familiar with the show and were disappointed.

I'm back at my Birmingham hotel after seeing Britney tonight. She had a lot of energy, she barely stood still for 5 seconds! The show was how I expected, really, not terrible but not amazing really. I guess it left me a bit cold and I think the main problem is the lip synching to old CD recordings. I thought that would not be so bad seeing the show live but it really stood out and lots of people were talking about it on the train back into Birmingham city centre. Pre-recorded vocals would really make such a difference.

Britney's dancing was very good in parts and messy in other parts. I think the choreography is the main problem there.

I was very disappointed with my seat and the view of the stage. Really my seat should have been classed as 'restricted view' and shouldn't have cost me £140. Because of the way the stage is set up, with the stairs props I only saw Britney about 50% of the time she was on stage! A lot of the time, from where I was sitting Britney was hidden behind those steps, until she came to the front of the stage. Like when she's swinging on the pole at the start of Slave - completely hidden from me!

Britney spoke in her mock English accent again and I loved the way she pronounced Birmimgham - Burrrmeenghaam! Too cute! :)

i have to say that the crowd in my block were a bit subdued - not much cheering, dancing or applauding. On the train back everyone seemed to be raving about Pitbull more than Britney. I didn't see him but one woman was saying that Pitbull had everyone up dancing whilst Britney had everyone sitting down! The guy with her said he expected Britney to be dancing much more than she did and that he was disappointed with the show.

Anyway, I'm glad I went, just to see Britney again. Who knows when she's likely to tour the UK again!

Thanks for sharing your experience

@Osprey1464, @Egle92, one fan said that attending Piece of Me live, they could perceive a tiny layer of live vocals not quite audible in YouTube/Instagram videos. Could you at any moment, even for a short moment?

It may be wishful thinking on my part, but I'd like to believe Britney when she says it's a mixture of her voice and a little bit of playback. I never attended any of the Piece of Me concerts, but I've attended other shows incl. Circus and Femme Fatale, and there's so much noise, so much reverberation from the speakers, the walls, that there might be that live feel.

Apparently, it's not just one, but multiple backing tracks playing at once for a fuller effect.

I really wish when the dancers pick her up in the beginning of Song, I wish she’d relax her head. Her neck is so stiff, she’s looking down at her feet every time.

She had whiplash during pom rehearsals so probably it is better way to make your neck muscles stiff and stronger to avoid injury...

I thought I could here her singing on top of the backing track at the start of till the world ends and a bit here and there I wasn’t sure if I was imagining it though or if her mic was on accidentally. I was near the front in block A and I kinda thought I must be hearing things.

Oh, I forgot to mention. Poor Britney, some of the comments I heard as I walked with the crowd from the arena back to the train station, aside from lots of the expected comments about her miming the whole show:

A young boy being carried on his dad's shoulders:

Dad: "So what did you think, Ben?"

Ben: "She sounded squeaky, like a mouse!"

Another family with a young daughter: 'Mum, how old is Britney? I think she looks really old"

Mum: I'm not sure, darling, somewhere in her mid 30's, I think"

Daughter: "30's? I thought she was about 60!"

One guy to his group of friends: "Was Britney drunk? She was all over the place!"

Poor Britney, i don't think she looked drunk at all, or 60! A bit squeaky on some songs though, lol.

Oh and a couple of men were talking about Britney's ***, saying it's a work of art and they want to take a bite out of it, lol. :)

Birmingham is just a big village.

This child is clearly speaking what she heard adults talking before, that's not kids way of speaking, but kids always hear adults talking around even tho they don't seam to listen.

This comments really don't matter. Why did they even bother to go to see her. It's just a village who likes to talk a lot...
