9:15: "I was almost gonna say Christina Aquilera but at the same time her voice is so strong and powerful and she would never make a song like that" .........:rihstare: "Everytime" ***** on all of Xtinct's songs and you will deal boy :badthoughts::badthoughts:

This is the first time Brit wasn’t the most known artist!

It’s cool that her voice is super recognisable even when the song isn’t.

I would so love for Brit to adjust her brand and bring ballads and live performances of deep/ beautiful music into her work. It’s a pity gems like this and Someday aren’t well known. Her bops are great but it wouldn’t hurt to have more depth.

The kid saying ‘what is this, Barbie music?!’ Hurts me lol I often wonder if I’m blinded to Britney music being cheesy, childish mush lol

Everytime only made it to #15 on the US charts, and it was fueled heavily by a dance remix that boosted its radio play considerably. It's one of those songs that Britney fans just adore because it's *the single that proves she can really write and really sing well, but it was not a major hit in America.

People know Britney for her uptempo dance songs. All of her Top 10 hits in America have been uptempo, danceable tracks -- no exceptions. When they play Toxic or Oops or BOMT, freaking everyone knows who it is in these videos.

I remember watching Everytime (the original ballad version) video always playing on TV and it was from what I remember, a very popular song so... I didn’t even know of the dance remix until years after. (I grew up in Florida)

Kids these days (not all of them, but most of them definitely) are obviously too lazy to search for music. I was raised on MTV and whenever there was an interesting artist on I knew nothing about, I always researched their music. Just listening to what the radio offers you seems boring. Kids, be curious, research, find out about new music, live a little, Bieber and Selena are not the center of the universe :ehno:

Right?? In Italy that song was on the radio in 2004!

Their first record, Songs About Jane, came out in 2002, somehow they started to promote This Love just in 2004 and it was charting that year, I heard it a lot (the lead single came out in 2002 tho, but Hardet to Breath haven't became too popular)

Songs About Jane is one of my favourite record of all time, it's so chosive and well-built;)
