I understand this is a stupid celebrity gossip site, however I feel as though it has larger implications to how the media continually treat mental health. To me, this is such a backhanded compliment, in which they preface her success, fitness, and accomplishments with a decade old story about her mental illness. In my opinion, no you're not celebrating her when you feel the need to put one of her lowest moments alongside it. What you do guys think?

I'll bet Britney doesn't want to be reminded of her head shaving every 5 minutes. Also, I don't like how the media wants to pretend like Britney was 100% mentally ill in 2007 and is now 100% not mentally ill. Let's be real here - she was mentally ill back then and she's still mentally ill now, but medication and lack of alcohol/illegal ***** mean she's less obviously ill nowadays.

Everybody says we should be taking mental health more seriously, but then they pull stupid things like this :pleaseshhh:

Very true point about mental illness being an ongoing process. Definitely not a black and white issue.
