Do the paparazzi finally leave her alone? (no candids etc)

yeah I am aware this has been asked before - and we got pics of her on Hawaii. But there haven't been many candids of Britney in recent months where we see her get something from Starbucks or buy flowers or shop at  freaking Target, it's like they're not following her around for that anymore. Which is a good thing, considering how much she must hate it.

I wonder if we'll get candids of her leaving a recording studio anytime soon   but other than that, I must say I'm happy for her if the paps actually show up less.

well, she's FORTUNATELY no longer a main tabloid celebrity  so I think paps only take pictures if they ever come accross with her, they stopped following her years ago 

She deserves a private life after the amount of exposure she got, but a few pics would be nice tbh

I think if she was going out - they'd snap her. It's not like the world stopped caring because even during the quietest times when all she was doing was POM and long breaks in between - paps were still following her. So now that she's about to do her first world tour in 7 years I imagine photos of her are more in demand than usual because her name is back out there. 

 

My guess is she just isn't leaving the house. 4 years of POM have clearly left her exhausted. It's the hardest show she's ever done, you know?

She's got a home gym, a pool to pretend she's at Hawaii in, a bf to cater to her. Postmates and Uber Eats also exist now so  we live in new and unexciting times

I do believe the "world of paparazzis" have changed, specially for A - list celebs. They are more laws to protect them.

Yeah, like others have said, a lot of things have changed. But yes, they do seem to finally leave her alone, for the most part. It helps that she doesn't go partying or anything anymore. (And the Hawaii pictures are always staged, ftr. That's why we always get candids when she goes to the beach.)

Afaik, these days paps only show up if something is super mega demand (huge scandal) or when they are called. They receive enough calls to be busy every day without having to stake out.

I'm really happy for her. They hounded her for so long and she did everything this decade to get them to leave her alone. I think the only time we will see pap shots is when the tour starts and maybe if they catch her pre events.

If it's in terms of current work, It doesn't matter being popular or not, there's plenty of populars who don't get candids as Britney did back in 2005-2008 (well, nobody does actually). Lindsay Lohan, Tara Reid, for example, they were unemployed back then but yet they were so followed by the paps, so... Today I just see Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, her sisters and that's it for the most part. Then Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Ariana Grande. But still it is not a chaos or bunch of annoying paps on their faces, times have changed and I truly believe that happened after Britney's breakdown, I mean there's new laws for paps in California and they can't do a lot of stuff they did with Brit.

There's clearly a 'pre-Britney' media and a 'post'-Britney media.  All you need to do really is look at all her major interviews in the 90s/2000s. 

And then look at interviews with major stars in the 2010s.  Pretty much all the female pop stars have benefited from a 'post'-Britney media, including Beyonce.

I dismiss that Britney and Beyonce 'started at the same time' bullshit because Beyonce was never put under any scrutiny until the 2010s, in a 'post' Britney-media.

The gated community have stores and cofféeshops, and yes, why wait around for a picture of britney who never goes to the "cool" places, when they can just go there and pap some of the "hottest" right now.

Paparazzi attention has diminished for celebrities overall since social media made a big uprise. Celebrities now post their own candids and story to their public. In the past paparazzi pics were the only way to look into celebrities life to see how they lived and what they did on a day to day basis, now they're not anymore, as you can get a lot of the same information directly from the celebrities. f.e. a pic of Britney on the beach or britney holding hands with Sam is worth way less now that she regulary posts a few herself.

There's a handfull of "it" celebrities that actually have a story going for them get stalked by paparazzi nowadays (mainly the Kardashians, JB & SG, Piit and Jolie, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Taylor Swift (with her boyfriends). If Britney were to do something strange like go out clubbing again or have a relationship with another big celebrity, attention would be back right away.

Also Britney has moved to Thousand Oaks, which is further away from Hollywood and she lives in a bigger gated community.  The paps have to go out of their way to go find her, and if there's no juicy story about it it just isn't worth waiting days to snap a few relatively boring pics.
