I would love an *NSYNC reunion and have them at least come out and do 2 songs full on. Unfortunately, JT seems to be completely over that and it seems to me like he thinks he’s too good to do that.

It would be a mistake if he didn’t bring Janet out either. To give him some credit here, maybe she declined?

We’ll see what happens tomorrow night.

Not surprised Justin doesn’t want to share the SB stage with anyone else other than his TN Kids band who no one will really notice. It’s his choice though. I think he’ll do okay tomorrow as long as he doesn’t do too many unfamiliar or new MOTW songs that apparently no one’s here for. I haven’t listened to the album tbh so I can’t judge it for myself yet.

Man of the Woods is Justin Timberlake's Britney Jean (read the reviews) and the SB is going to be his desert performance (disappointing).

Yeah that’s the impression I got reading the Daily Beast review of JT’s album. There’s no real depth to these pop artists. But if there is they don’t know how to project that side of themselves in a way that clicks with their fanbase and critics alike.

Daily Beast: ”Hence Man of the Woods, his purported attempt to strip down to the basics and reveal what’s behind the pop veneer in the way that his contemporaries have. Unfortunately, the album reveals that there’s...nothing there.”

^ Exactly what many said about Britney Jean or they say it about her generally speaking, “there’s nothing there.”

Ok I’m going to listen to MOTW. I’m curious.

Yeah, exactly! I think they described the album very well when they say it's a vanity project gone wrong as he did it mostly for himself and not so much for his fans; only difference is that his fans are still supporting him and Britney's fans totally bashed her. He's at the point in his career where he's trying to find the balance between family and career/image and he's not being successful with it so far. I won't be surprised if after this we start to slowly see him push his wife and family back away from the spotlight.
